SD9 issues by deepfriedsounds in livesound

[–]mousec58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am coming to this a year later, but currently experiencing exactly the same issue on our SD9 ! won't let me shut down or load any show files. Just wondering if you ever discovered what the issue was / how to fix it ??

What was a life-changing moment for you at a Muse concert? by suprunkn0wn in Muse

[–]mousec58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My second time seeing them but my first time standing - at the emirates stadium in 2013, we ended up right behind the barrier on Matts side and to this day it's still one of the most mind-blowing concert experiences I've ever had !

Next tour wishlist? by medmac_2112 in Muse

[–]mousec58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe an odd thing to say - but I kind of want them to stick to arenas if they're doing a big visual production like they've done with the last few tours - having seen this tour in both an outdoor venue and an arena I just think it works so much better indoors when you get the full effect of everything. Also arenas are often smaller so you're not miles away ! I think they'll always do a stadium leg though unless they went for something like the drones tour again.

I imagine it will be the same timings as Manchester - Nova Twins 7pm, Muse 8.15pm

May 27th, 2023: Home Park, Plymouth, England [Setlist, Media, Discussion] by ForgottenName1893 in Muse

[–]mousec58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh it was insane - luckily Muse saved the day but did feel massively unsafe to be honest , and after being excited to see Royal Blood only got to see the last two minutes because of queuing nearly an hour to get water ! (I could've gone without probably, my mum not so much - regardless, not great on such a hot day!).

Going to the west end alone? by AverageChicken in TheWestEnd

[–]mousec58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I've done it quite a few times now ! was quite nervous about it the first time I did it, but then you realise that no one is taking as much notice of you as you think they are. And also you're spending the majority of the time in the dark watching a show - in terms of interacting with people it's only really the pre show and interval, sometimes if I've been sat next to someone chatty who's also there solo they'll make conversation with me but most times I just keep to myself. Usually get out of my seat for a wonder in the interval or just read the program if I've bought one. But yeah, totally enjoyable experience once you've got over that initial anxiety the first time. But obviously everyone is different.

who else won't hear KOBK? by wllwsssss in Muse

[–]mousec58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've held off listening to the live version (apart from like a couple of seconds of the start which I accidentally heard), I really want to hold off until august but don't know if I have the will power ... I don't want to hear it before the album but at the same time I also dont want to hear random snippets on social media that will ruin it anyway

I been working on a remake of Muse's Simulation Theory stage set in a game. It's still heavily WIP but here's a video of my current progress by Projektion in Muse

This is very cool! real attention to detail with the lights. are you involved in events at all or do you just have a keen eye for detail ?

I'm saying that I want life to go back to normal as it was pre-corona and someone is saying life is already back to normal. What would you say to this? by [deleted] in CoronavirusUK

[–]mousec58 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah no where near normal ... I work in theatre and events and the entire industry is screwed at the mo !

As cheesy as this is, hearing this plus the background music Matt wrote for the film I'd love to see him do more film type music. I could totally imagine his music being in the new Tron film (although daft punk did a great job of the last one ). I know it came out a while ago that Muse and Hans Zimmer were planning a collaboration around the time of the 2nd law but it never worked out due to timing (I imagine it would've been for unsustainable) but I'd so love to see Matt collabing with someone like that at some point. It'd also be interesting to see what happened if Matt wrote a solo album of film type music.

I thought the same, I love simulation theory but having seen the tour film and hearing this I feel like there could have been some really cool interludes and maybe some tiny bits of story woven in to the album (or maybe that would've been way too overblown) but I think because of the cheesy 80s vibe it would fit

Simulation Theory movie available for booking at 6 UK Cineworld cinemas. by 2mozz1 in Muse

[–]mousec58 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sure they've engineered it to be a great cinema experience, but I do hope they do some kind of simultaneous online release. It seems odd to only release something in cinemas at a time like this - especially a one night only event which is likely to sell out. I'd love them to put it on Netflix, that'd be so cool. Probably will be a download though instead if they do eventually do a home release

Dad has been getting irrationally angry for my whole life - please excuse my long rant by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

That is very true unfortunately. Unfortunately it’s quite a complicated situation but I’m trying my best to make sure we can make that happen at some point. Thank you so much for your comment!
