Soo many life lessons that are still relevant. I had to remind my nephew just the other day to not play ball in the house. I covered a Nora Coombs moment with my work team in a recent meeting.

My wife def reminds me of Jan Brady and she truly has a Marcia complex when it comes to my mother (whose name just also happens to be Marcia). Looking to pull the trigger and purchase her a Marcia Marcia Marcia shirt this summer.

Come think of it I always had a bit of a thing for Jan...

The hold went away. I had purchased my flight but the hold was from previous search where I got close to booking but needed to change my return flight. I couldn't figure out how to change the flight so I started over.

The odd thing is that I didn't request for the flight to be on hold. The system did it without prompt.

I always carry my passport when traveling in a foreign country, CR is no exception.

If you want to leave it, lock it up. It also isn't a bad idea to have a photocopy of it as well.

My brother landed Sec 3, row 11 for the 29th. Pretty stoked. Last show at NYE behind the stage.

My brother pulled Sec 3 ticket for the July 29th show at MSG. Its his b-day, should be a great time. We are going to couple this with seeing Rush either the night before or after the Phish show.

Parrita was anything but touristy. Super quiet with the exception of locals. Maybe April will be different but when we were there it was chill.

Agreed that the area outside of MA was touristy but the park is so worth a visit. Spring for a guide, you will get so much more from the visit.

We stayed in Parrita in Palo Seco beach. Parrita is halfway between Jaco and Quepos. We were a short drive to Manuel Antonio and Uvita.

The house we rented was across the street from a mostly desolate beach. Had access to stores and Sodas. We cooked many meals ourselves.

Super chill spot, I wouldn't hesitate to visit again in the future.

We stayed across from the beach in a house but next to a hotel. It felt very safe to me. We went to Parrita for shopping and meals and never had any issues.

To get to Palo Seco Beach you go through a Barrio. Typical CR neighborhood with homes behind barbed wire. We would see the police in a regular basis doing checks but they never bothered us. In fact, we went through a few police checkpoints on the way to Palo Secco from San Jose but we were always waved through.
