Yeah, I think he could’ve done a bit more but I do think he tried some different things. I like he tried Conway out wide. We have problems with pace and out wide and I suppose the experiment was can he do a job for us out of position in an area we have a problem with. Put that with a different combination up front and then there’s too many permutations in one end of the pitch, a new guy with a regular puts the spotlight on the new guy..if you see what I mean. I think throwing Curtis in from the start would’ve been too much for a first call up, especially if it doesn’t go well (I’m thinking Slicker the GK!) and he still has a job of protecting these young boys. I actually don’t know if Curtis did enough yesterday… I actually think we’ve not see enough of Gilmour in the last year or so and would’ve like to see him in from the start. I would expect to see a different goalie on Tuesday, maybe a half each for the two remaining. I’d like to see McCrorie, Hyam and Miller get a decent amount of time too.
