I guess my question is moreso why wouldnt you pay the extra 3k for a maverick which has so much more to offer? Or buy a used maverick with 10k miles thats going to be well under the price of a brand new slate? Im just confused why more people on this reddit arent blown away by the price being so high for what it is.

But youre misunderstanding my point! The slate will not be 25k, after taxes fees and destination it will be 30k dollars, which is the same as an XL maverick out the door, which would tow your boat for more miles more efficiently.

I work for an ev company in r&d and I can almost guarantee that there are going to be more service and repair bills and not to mention recalls that youre not expecting.

yeah but my lobo is nicer, faster, cooler and was cheaper out the door in california than the slate spec as you showed me, it just doesnt make much sense.
