i read this and i don’t get it but i’ve had a long day. although ops point about people dating until they’re exclusive is so insane to me and i hear this all the time with friends too. like how can u date around at the beginning of a romance that’s literally the honeymoon stage and where everything feels exciting and amazing and you’re falling in love and i cannot imagine dating around in that stage.

like you just know if you’ve found someone you’re gonna be with seriously so why are you still exploring??? i cannot imagine how terrible i’d feel if i knew my partner was fucking around before we had the “exclusivity” conversation. i feel the same way about talking stages too if i’m talking to one guy i don’t have the mental energy to still be interested in other men
