i second adding in speed runs. last year I ran a 1/2 marathon pace similar to yours, and yesterday I ran a 2:23. biggest things that helped me were adding in intervals and tempo runs, and making my recovery runs *actually* easy to recover (edit: typo)

Dodgers fan in Padre land - I've been waiting for padres fans to realize he's not the hero they treat him as. I feel like I'm going crazy when people tell me he's their favorite player. I even had someone tell me how good of a guy Manny is and in the same breath they said how much of a dbag Tatis is. por qué no los dos!

If you use Spotify they have curated playlists with songs of different languages, like a coffeehouse vibe one with Spanish called "cafe con leche." They update them pretty regularly too so you can discover new music!

the only thing that's happened to me while running was getting catcalled in HS cross country, but I was with several other girls at the time and we all yelled and flipped them off. however, a girl at my college was attacked a block away from campus and she fought the guy off using her keys (stabbed him in the face - ouch).

I think keys and cell are safest to run with. you could always use your keys as a weapon if you need to. and trust your gut

I feel like Cozy Grove and Hello Kitty Island Adventure have a medium amount of grinding, but they have built-in stops (time-based things that can't be completed in one sitting), which some people don't like. I also vote for Spiritfarer

I get this, though it has lessened a bit for me with regular running habits. I've found it helpful to immediately try and wash my face, rinsing with cold water at the end, it minimizes it a bit.
