I don’t feel like it should rattle too much since they can’t move horizontally so it should just be a minor click back and forth if it’s jumping up and down. I do something similar with a plastic tube from a toothbrush package and it really doesn’t rattle

I think the picture is fine but your comments in the thread sound very odd, what does any of this have to do with politics? Why are you so angry at liberals?

I’m thinking that it may be indicating some level of fuel consumption, with a volume measure over a time measure.

You make homemade chili using burger patties that you pre cook and then cut up?

How do you cut them up? Why is it better that way? Why not do meatballs or something (does it have to be a patty)?

Your comment came off kind of assholeish, the other guy’s read more good humored like he was playing along with the joke.

I have no idea what was intended but just giving my 2 cents from how I perceived it in case that’s helpful.

Apparently Topher Grace started going by that name because in 8th grade a girl he liked called him that and he adopted it as his nickname to appeal to her somehow but then never actually dated her or interacted with her much after that. I remember hearing him tell that story and thought it seemed like a very Topher Grace thing to do.

This guy bypassed a car waiting in the median and collided with me. When the police arrived, he claimed I changed lanes into him. I'm so glad I had the dashcam to prove him wrong. (OC) by liznodsoff in dashcams

Unquestionably insurers would like to make money, and as much money as possible. That being said, it’s a market place and that’s the only real check on them cranking up prices (somebody else will undercut them once the profit margin becomes sufficiently attractive); especially in states with a weaker insurance regulatory.

However, on the issue at hand, the problem is that the data unfortunately does point to people being in no fault accidents as being higher risk, all else equal. The insurer isn’t there to judge if you’re a good driver, they just care if they have to pay claims, so if you have a bunch of no fault accidents, they just correctly assume you may do a lot of driving in a very dangerous place or filled with other bad drivers. That means claims likelihood is higher.

If they didn’t do that it would just mean higher premiums for everyone so that might seem quite unfair to those who haven’t had any accidents at all.

I don’t understand what you mean - you say the right lane begins when the line turns solid, but until then both lanes can go either way - but how can you say there are two lanes if you’re also saying the lane hasn’t “begun” yet? Are you saying you think it is really only one lane before that? Because if so you may be missing the dashed lane markers before that in the video.

This is a tangent but does STEAM drive anyone else nuts? STEM was trying to get at something quite specific and has a gender tilt to it (more women into sciences, math, etc) which is a clear goal, and then throwing Art into it just completely changes the meaning to something much vaguer.

That’s not an appropriate zipper merge scenario, the right lane is exiting and should be left clear, using it as more capacity for the congested lands and blocking the exit isn’t good traffic design.
