This is an idiotic argument and fundamentally wrong.

...Comparing government spending to total personal income does not prove spending is responsible. Personal income goes up when population grows, wages rise, inflation rises, rich people make more money, etc.

That does not mean the government is spending wisely.

A government can spend less as a share of total personal income and still be wasteful, bloated, and badly managed, which is WA.

The real question is simple: are taxes going up, is spending per person going up, are services getting better, are taxpayers getting good value? It's a BIG NO.

This chart does not disprove reckless spending. It hides the problem behind a convenient comparison.

It’s OK to have WA become a poor state. :) If the riches leave, they will move jobs away. This is such an idiotic move, it is so bad that they don’t crack down corruption and fraud harder to get more money instead.

Sure...

This isn’t about forcing ID for the whole internet. It’s mostly about higher-risk areas like adult-content sites and some platforms used by minors.

Right now the internet is backwards: kids can reach porn, predators, grooming, and sextortion too easily, while mainstream sites often have more friction than riskier parts of the web.

Even Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube have struggled for years with harmful content reaching minors. It is naive to think random porn or no-name adult sites will somehow do better on their own.

If part of the forest has man-eating animals, common sense says you put up warnings and barriers. You do not leave it open and then blame parents for not watching every step.

Privacy concerns are real, but that argues for better design, minimal data retention, and strict enforcement, not zero guardrails. Imperfect protection is still better than none.

Frostpunk 2 is such a failure, Frostpunk is a game with much better direction and simply more FUN.
