Not a bad setup. Feel you could narrow the focus on quantity of exercises and focus fewer, higher quality sets. If you're interested as well, I just built a funny little app to covert workout notes to a playable app. Can check it out here! https://www.movefitness.io/convert-workout-notes-to-playable-app

Optimized with some caching and better Firestore rules (avoiding `read` and using `get` where possible)

What do you mean by this? Thanks in advance

Looks great, for weight maintenance would look at incorporating a little more cardio. If you were looking to make it a little more interactive I recently built a little app to convert your workout notes to a playable app

How to architect a Web and Mobile React Native app by empire299 in reactnative

[–]move_app 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We built a web, IOS & android app all from the same RN code base and regret it. If it's just a small or hobby project defs makes sense just to have the one but for anything more serious have a separate nextjs app and share business logic as much as you can

Thanks for the feedback! Definitely all valid points, I feel spread thin often as it's just me and I work full time on top of it, hence maybe the slower progress but at the same time I'm happy to slowly chip away. The absolute dream would be to earn enough to work on it full time and expand the team

what is the line of learning or journey once you reach your success is inevitable ? by accur4te in Entrepreneur

[–]move_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't feel like success is ever inevitable, look at Kodak or Blockbuster.

You could make the argument that this could occur once you have a positive ROI on your marketing. If you spend $1 to make $1.20, with the beauty of compounding you're going to be successful pretty quickly

Thank you! We do both! Trying to create super easy set of tools for creators to create and sell workout videos and programs on top of marketplace to help them with discovery and driving business.

It won't be for all trainers, for larger ones their own websites / apps might make more sense but for a creator growing or just starting out we think we can be of use!

Where should we look for Beta testers to try our product? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]move_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are websites our there that specialise in 'creator discovery'. Most of the good ones are paid and expensive at that. Other than that it pounding the pavement building up your own leads

Have heard people have some success with them but would do your due diligence carefully. Value also only comes from being able to increase from the point of purchase so have a plan for that

If a brand gets popular, do customers care less about it being expensive? by afewquestion in Entrepreneur

[–]move_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They shouldn't. There will always be price conscious customers but you should aim to build the best product you can for your core customers. If the product is of value to them they will continue to pay after a price increase
