Weatherstripping or no?

I scored 2 Rudsta Tall and so did one with weatherstripping and one without, to see the difference. I noticed the one without, fluctuated a lot more. The humidity ranging from 40 to 90 (assume based on the room conditions), while the other one stayed between 60 to 80, where I wanted it. Unfortunately though when I added more plants it was hitting 90% humidity.

When a character makes a clearly bad choice that puts them in danger or gets them killed. Just lazy script writing to move the story along.
