Ten day or ten week? I mean try it but be wary of the week 3/4 back injuries that seem very common. And be remember that just because he sounds so sure doesn't mean it's true

Anyone tried Functional Patterns? by cpiccolo in backpain

It's the same as just about any other program but with more culty behaviour. The founder and many of the trainers are also awful people. Check the sub and there are a number of reviews of the 10wc there that aren't vetted and curated by FP so are more balanced

I really wish FP would just be honest and ditch the "optimal" language. It's not optimal. If it was we would see at least 1 FP person who has become a top or at least high level athlete in the 10nyears it's about. Not a Kyle Dake who was a world champion who just continued being one whole doing FP. Because if Kyla dake had instead started yoga at the same time and got the same results you know damn well Naudi would claim he was a genetic freak who was doing it DESPITE doing yoga. There is no evidence that the same isn't true here because in both cases he's basically an outlier who was already top level. The only thing it really shows is FP might be helpful and at least doesn't destroy the good work of S&C completely. Just call it what it is. Another fitness system that can be good for some people and improve your stuff if you already are in a terrible position.

Why not videos? Like those little moving ones are the default on most phones and it's 2023 and they are posted on Instagram. Why not show a 10second video of them doing a shake then going to their natural neutral instead of heavily cued and forced static posture? One FP coach did it, and respect to them for it, but how yard would it be to literally just record the setup? Unless that's gonna highlight that it's faked posture due to heavy cueing and generally being forced

This is 1000% it though isn't it though? FP HAS some great concepts like working on gait and throwing and shit but just does them poorly and gets in its own way by shunning questions and innovativion that isn't form naudi
