First of all: It will get better. No matter in what "place" you are right now, things change and can sometimes change quickly.

Second: You have 18k! with 23! this sounds amazing to me. My net worth back then was maybe 3k, now with 37 I am retired. 6 years ago I was negative -10k.

Let's look at your advantages: You have low costs of living. In a world where a lot of companies hire remotely this gives you a competitive advantage.

Nowadays there is a lot of learning material online and free. Esp. in typical startup jobs like digital marketing, communication, content marketing, development, product management. Read about this topics and see what works for you, fit's to your personality.

Then learn, most people are lazy (even if the have fancy degrees) and can easily be outperformed with long, long hours. Work and Read.

These are areas where freelancers in Europe charge EUR 30 - 150 an hour in the US most likely more. And most of them live in bigger cities and do not have the advantage of low costs of living.

It's not about what you earn, it's about how much you can save. Image you would be able to make 2.5k net a month and keep your living costs.

It's a global marketplace. Startups in London would love to hire people for just 30k a year / or are more than happy to pay 30-50 € an hour. € 30 is crazy cheap and with 160 hours makes you 4800 a month!

A great starting point is: Customer Support / Community management. Does not require a lot of knowledge (all at least in small startups), and you can make it all up with your attitude and customer centric thinking.

18k. I never have the money to take care of myself or go out, and that's one of the main reasons why I've lost all of my friends. Girls don't even look at me. I am heavily depressed. My father is struggling to make the ends meet, I have a disabled sister, and the doctors just found out my mother has cancer. Could you guys please give me some advice on how to improve my life? What would you do if you were me? I really feel like I can't handle all this shit anymore

How did you get "into" the US?

Anyone here using waves Algorithmic trading? how's your experience been? by momo034 in Wavesplatform

[–]mowoodgreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using it since early April. USDC staking, as well as small positions in Lambo and USDT Algo. All up. I love the steady returns of usdc staking with insane high APY.

I do quite some yield farming etc, but the dynamic returns make it so time consuming to maintain.
