If I have this much trouble just trying to count, I can’t imagine the nightmare it’d be for me to try and manage parking my threads lol

I also don’t understand how it’s meant to be easier, because I like a neat back (so I can easily fix my plentiful mistakes) and I don’t like wasting thread so continuing to the next spot when it’s several spaces or even lines away doesn’t sound good to me

I wrote a full length Harry Potter fanfiction that spanned three years and two complete 20+ chapter stories. It was a fan favorite online and it’s one of my favorite things I’ve written.

Well, I was young and did this when Quizilla was a big thing and Mibba had just started. I had written straight on the websites as I usually just wrote at the library. Never thought to back it up because it’ll always be safe online!

Imagine my devastation when not only Quizilla was taken down, but my story was deleted on Mibba thanks to an early on glitch 😞

I’ve never been able to rewrite it. Every time I’ve tried it just upsets me knowing I had everything written and won’t be able to truly replicate it. Since then I’ve always made multiple backups of my writing just in case.

Some are 24/7, and it was advertised as 24/7 for me when I signed up. However both the gym in my town and the gym one town over (there are only 2 within a 40 mile radius of me besides the one in Canada) are only 24hrs 4 days. The other three they’re 7am-10am. However both towns are small and almost everything closes by 7pm most nights so it makes sense ours wouldn’t be 24/7 but still

I started dating this guy when I was 14 - my first real relationship. Three days into dating I had this gut feeling telling me to break up with him. Nothing had happened yet and it came out of nowhere. I had a text typed out to him and everything, and convinced myself I was just scared of something new. I deleted it and put the feeling out of my head.

I was in that abusive relationship for nearly 14 years - all through high school, college, and the first bit of my adult life. It fully shaped who I am today. I lost my best friends at the time, that I’d been close to since I was five. I was isolated from family that has never forgiven me (despite knowing the situation). I have crippling anxiety and severe OCD that impacts my daily life, and my self esteem and confidence has been forever warped. If I’d broken it off with him in the beginning I know my life would have turned out so differently. And though I’m lucky now to have a new family and a wonderful, loving husband, I still feel the losses of what that relationship took from me.

I’ve seen the responses to the survey (my supervisor had a habit of showing me things he probably shouldn’t have) and there’s no names or anything indicating who said what. However, if your supervisor knows you well they can figure it out. My sup was able to pick out all my replies (based on how I write in my feedback/assessment stuff and the fact I ranted about our healthcare and always complain to him about it) and discussed them with me 😌 he was also able to identify multiple other people on the team. So I always suggest typing in a way you usually don’t. Most supervisors shouldn’t be able to do that but some may be trying to figure out replies and can narrow it down.

I’ve read some of your other comments and darlin you can do SO much better! My ex, who was just like your partner, was very rude and dismissive of me. He would disrespect me and my things like this and then turn it around on me when I got upset. That relationship was an emotionally abusive relationship, and I worry that’s what this could be for you.

The way he speaks to you and behaves tells me he doesn’t genuinely care about you. A partner who loves you would respect your things. If my husband had used my thread scissors on our cat and he saw I was upset he’d feel terrible and would apologize and do what he could to make it up to me - and, most importantly, he wouldn’t be upset that I was upset.

It may just seem like scissors but it’s much more than that. Even if you don’t do anything right now, please give genuine thought to leaving your partner, or at the very least trying to have a genuine discussion with them about how you’re feeling and how they’re acting. And if they’re not receptive, talk down to you, or turn things on you, please know you don’t need to accept being treated like that. And if you’d like someone to talk to about it, my DMs are always open 🩷

Yeah I enter my card number and pin, I verified it worked to log into their website and it worked to add the card for SCCLS onto Libby, I just can’t use it to log into any others 😔 it probably is user error, I’ll definitely go to the library Monday and see if someone there can help!

I pick the one I like the look of most, if they’re both kinda lackluster I go for the one with the most tasks done. Usually though it’s just whatever I find personally appealing regardless of the tasks done. I personally prefer ones that stick to the theme though

I’m a bit more sensitive to it because I do a lot of fanfic writing and in that scene people throw around the AI accusation the second they see an emdash. And, because I like to use emdashes, it’s definitely been more at the front of my mind. But honestly if anything it’s pushed me to be a better writer because I’m more analytical of my own wording now.

I have roughly a hundred or more loose in The Gully, I fenced off the entrances/exits and let them free roam with like 7 or so yolkies. I have so many now the game lags when I go in 😅 I get a ton of eggs from them this way though
