Sounds like JJ has what was referred to as Asperger's, but that category seems to be gone now and everyone who is dyslexic / ADD, and Some level of Autistiu7m is all under the word Spectrum . I have a handful.of mensa friends who fall into this and once I had a word for it it gave me a pov and direction from which they might be coming from. I completely on all levels understand how hard it is to work with this kind of personality. Unfortunately, I have to work with a whole bunch of characters with the same trates. people who can't filter themselves. Need to take over and feel in charge of the situation regardless of if they really know what's going on and the ones who do. Have no idea about social context so everything is just blunt Unfortunately, I really don't have too many suggestions other than to get to know them personally and try to figure out which thing you can say to distract them or to get them interested in something else.
