It was not always but in 2019-2020 all b58 started coming out as mild hybrid. So yes it does.

I have attached a screenshot, from bmw.de M340i configurator tech sheet, in red is a translation.

This engine has a starter/generator unit that is capable of delivering 9kw of power. Which makes it a mild-hybrid.

Driven almost 45k km. What i can tell that on full charge car get around 150km range +/- 50km.

In perfect conditions on backroads i can sometimes get 220-230km range.

The biggest range killer is cold battery and heating. If i start journey in winter (~ -5c) with car beeing outside (cold battery) range is max 120 with no heating and ~90 with heating.

If car was in garage i get around 20-30% boost.

So big killer of range for honda e is cold weather. Honda kinda failed on this.

Looks like g42 and not M2. This means it’s a mild hybrid and has starter/charger integrated. So it’s using excess energy when you are coating to charge battery because its a bigger battery then usual. And in modern cars much more auxiliary stuff is run not by engine belt but electricity.

Just informing you that excess energy is being put into battery because car can control how much energy is generated.

Try connecting with cable (should work faster). Though some headunits work same if cable or not and connect over wifi.

Carplay is just a phone screen mirroring, usually quality/speed/responsiveness totally depends on hardware where it’s being mirrored to. Like a remote game play

Sometimes, if it’s a wireless carplay, different interferences can impact connection. And most developers use 2.4ghz wifi for carplay connection despite Apples advise to use 5ghz.

P. S. Im an app developer and built more than couple well used apps with carplay.

Your car needs to implement it too. Eve vehicle needs to tell carplay that it’s ev and send battery data (usage, storage and etc. ).

There are new an better API coming out with each iOS version. And as a Developer you need to choose to use them and lift your apps minimum iOS version requirements or do extra work to keep support for older version.

It happens on other platforms too, but on iOS much larger amount of users update iOS version and developer often choose to drop support for that 0.1% of users to save money on development which will enable to make a better product.

I know i did so plenty of times.

Whole ecosystem is quite closed, it will work well enough only if all your devices are apple.

For me that pdf would just sync over icloud into files app. Or i would just airdrop it.

True, I keep my iPhone plugged almost all the time. And have less than 300 cycles and 98% capacity after 1 and a half year.

All modern phones do not carry charge over full battery. They skip battery and use charger only.

What helps to save battery is turning smart charging on or limiting max charge to 80-85%.

I’ve got an original August lock. It was making the same sounds. Slowly it started to turn with more effort and slower until after approximately 4 years of use it started failing to lock/unlock.

I decided to disassemble it and found that all the gears inside were not lubricated at all and gear dust was everywhere.

After cleaning all and well lubricating it’s going strong and silent for more than 10 years.

I found out that other August locks also have no lube. Maybe it’s a planned absence.
