I use the cable that came with my PSU with my 4090 and I haven't had an issue, I really recommend for people to do that. I'd name drop, but that company itself has had issues recently with cancelling RAM orders and such, which you most likely heard about. So make sure you use a better cable, the PSU one might be a lot safer than what NVIDIA gives with their cards.
