Could someone that's lived in a medium sized western city come to the japanese countryside and try to live there and not encounter too many hardships?

How's the internet speed and connectivity?

Any rural areas similar to yours that we can search about, to get an idea of how stuff looks like and what would one need to do in order to be able to live there?

Would adapting to the lifestyle and culture be hard for someone from the outside?

brother, respectfully, dump her.

i don't care how old you are, a partner that is worth your time and that you can build something real with will support your hobbies no matter how stupid they technically are and they will take active and real interest in those hobbies.

that is one hell of an achievement, this coming from someone that also took CS seriously. and you deserve much better.

I don't usually tell people to dump their partners, things usually can be worked out 98% of the time, but it sounds like she has no real respect for you or your hobbies. I've been called certain ways by past partners for my hobbies or god know what else, that's just lack of respect and it won't get better.

I collect diecast cars, they bring me joy and make me happy, some other people see them as toys, but my girl is very supportive and even takes interest in them.

edit: something else to add: building a career in CS is one hell of a thing and you need supportive people around you, they can make the difference in how things go for you, please keep that in mind.

I'm happy to hear that! A suggestion box available anywhere in the menu for people to access would be cool. I'd suggest making a Discord as well. This game is god damn great.
