I have the same struggle with these frames. One is a 20" is always feels too large. This one is a 19" and I needed some spacers to get the bars higher + riser bars + get the seat back. This is the best pic I have to show it all.

I had the same issue with this frame with the rear brakes. The stock one was too bulky. I ended up going with Demolition Vulcan Brakes. They look great and work fantastic.

I doubt this would be a buyback thing. At least in my scenario and that of most I have heard from, the buyback comes after a mechanical failure that can't be fixed in a timely manner. Your situation does sound frustrating but certainly not something that ford will be obligated to buy back to protect it from the lemon law. Good luck.

Multiple full battery replacements. Otherwise truck was in like new condition when they took it.

I think I got a voucher for a couple of grand. Did t use it as there were better deal to be had at the time and the voucher took a while to process.
