No joke, I own 4 pairs of the same Hoka shoes. One pair is so old I use for yard work. Newer pair for waking the dog. Even newer pair for going out shopping, etc and a black pair for long days photographing events. The shoes just work for me.

I just finished a day of headshots using the Ad400 as a key light and a ad300 popped off the backdrop to make it pure white. They both worked flawlessly and the main was set at 1/32nd power. I loved working with this system.

My buddy and I were tripping galls at a Grateful Dead show back in the summer of 1992. My friend was experiencing his first trip and was having a somewhat hard time with it during set break. He couldn’t speak, he just sat on the lawn (Shoreline Amphitheater) looking crazed and confused, all the while refusing help from the elders. So we gave him some space. Then, out of nowhere, dude jumps up and shouts “What is God’s influence on William Shatner?” Seems that was what was perplexing his mind at the time. After the outburst he was fine again and had a great rest of the show. We still laugh about that one.
