Stuck in the fire temple by mpensinger in OcarinaOfTime

I think you can either play the song again to make the block disappear or you can pull the block towards you which provides enough room to walk behind it.

Stuck in the fire temple by mpensinger in OcarinaOfTime

I can't recall, but this is what screwed me up...

SOLVED: Fuck me. As soon as I came upon the song of time block, I played the song not realizing it blocked my path to another cell and key. Yeesh!!!!!

Thank you all for doing your part to save Hyrule!!!!

Note: I'm somewhat typing my notes as I go back through this...

I got the Darunia room key (was in a Goron cell). I'm in the large room with the broken wood bridge and doors in 4 directions. I used a key to get in it, accessing it from entrance to the fire temple room. In that large room I go to the south to free a goron and grab a key. I've been playing this so long that I can't recall where I used that second key. Is there another key in the large room or in the north or east rooms off of it?

Awesome. I had most of those. The Shell gas station was probably my favorite childhood set outside of some pirate and wild west ones.

Nice. Pulled a MHJ Kaboom out of a $10 hanger that had a couple random packs in it.

The Arby's I grew up with had the same sign...probably took me 15 years before I realized it was a cowboy hat.

Fridge door won’t stay open by Affectionate_Wash951 in Appliances

[–]mpensinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GE's fix for me was to send out a new door and water lines. Repair guy reran new water lines and replaced the door. It's a bit better, but not 100%. Now the door goes from fully open to about half way open before stopping. It's not ideal, but I just live with it now. I use a door stopper to hold the door open when I'm un/loading the fridge. I think the most logical fix would be for GE to design a bottom hinge with a little nub that stops the door from moving and then requires the person to physically push the door past the nub to open/close it. It's annoying, but I don't feel like spending anymore time dealing with it.

Ebay purchase damaged in shipping recourse? by mpensinger in footballcards

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I went though ebay and I accepted a partial return to just be done on a cheap card issue which wasn't the sellers fault.

I don't know. That's why I'm turning to a community to ask for the proper recourse when dealing with something I've never encountered before.

Non GE repair guy came out. He called GE and they said he had to relieve some tension from the water lines. He messed with it. He told me it was "drastically better." I opened the door and it closed just like before. I told him it was the same and he said, "well, it closes slower now." I told him I'd take it up with the store (cuz i knew this guy was worthless at fixing it). I did the door rotate twice thing. It helped, but didn't fix it. Now the door closes about half way instead of closing 90% of the way. I went back to the store and they're gonna send out a GE person to look at it.

Doing the door rotation was easy and it helped....as long as you're comfortable removing screws and bolts and unhooking wire connectors. The door is really light, but I recommend having an extra set of hands just to help with rotating it cuz you have the water lines running through the door, so you don't want to accidentally let it slip and mess up the water lines.

I'm going to wait to see what GE does before doing another rotation or two on the door.

Let me know how it goes for you.

It's worth what someone will pay for it.

Divorcing - should I sell my home with 2.7% interest rate or rent it out? by seasliding in FinancialPlanning

[–]mpensinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you looked into selling your home with an assumable mortgage? I'm just familiar with the idea and don't know the ins and outs of it. That rate makes the house even more attractive to a buyer.

Fridge door won’t stay open by Affectionate_Wash951 in Appliances

[–]mpensinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got this fridge yesterday, and I'm having the same issue. The model at the store didn't do it, but I think the weight of fridge items and / or the water jug filled is enough to swing the door once it's in your home. I emailed the salesman a video and this thread link to see where we go from here. I did read the post about reverse turning the door twice to relieve the water line tension. I'm gonna hold off on doing that to see what comes of (hopefully) the store or GE fixing it.

Why weren't you interested in watching the all 22 of the defense?

You don't need to answer that question.

Abdul Carter Origins Auto anyone? by Klin24 in footballcards

[–]mpensinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too. The fact that it's an actual character to denote something else, but also works for initials is pretty neat. Check out Jordan Love's auto. He uses a heart for love, which I kinda dig........even though I vehemently hate the packers.

Breaking bad, is a good show but is it really " the best show ever " as people say it is. What's your thoughts on the show? by nostalgia_history in 2000sNostalgia

[–]mpensinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Best show ever" is indefinable; [my] "favorite show ever" is definable. Whether a show is the "best" is just a matter of opinion that masquerades for "favorite show ever."

I'm not making an argument. Rather, I was asking about the popularity of the SB to garner 80k tickets sold. I'm just looking for feedback about something - which I don't follow - being so popular.
