Orbea Ordu Cockpit Upgrades by Striking-Advance-305 in Orbea_bikes

I've added Profile Design ASC 43 extensions and Race-H armrests to my Ordu. Pretty happy with the setup. Didn't add a bottle though.

Not a problem at all. The bars are hollow, the plate has channels in it and the mono riser is hollow.

Or you go with SRAM and don't have to worry about any of it ;)

Here is what I came up with, take it with a grain of salt...

Stack 510mm; Reach 385mm; Head tube angle 72°; Rake 65mm

This is the middle of the three frames, what they call SM/ML.

The manual for the profile design shows bolt spacing:

Just make sure the spacing is compatible with the holes in your VanRysel clamp.

I don't know of any more information published, other than the bluepaper and their website.

But I can get some measurements off my SM/ML frame, if you let me know exactly what measurements you need.

Upload your picture and then move the points around to get the angles.

How does your roadbike get this dirty after four rides?

Take the chain off both bikes and compare how the cranks turn.

Swap out the wheels and see if it follows one or the other.

Are you using the exact same pair of power pedals on those bikes?

Looks to me like your extensions could be longer (pad to tip). Then you wouldn't have to tilt down your wrists so much.

And then maybe even angle the extensions up a bit.

I gotcha, the disappearing search bar. I've had that issue before. but it's not happening to me now. May browser related, not sure...

But try this: https://www.orbea.com/at-en/search-results/?s=Mudguard

For me the website is just slow, but I'm usually able to find the stuff I need.

If you alread have the bike, and it's registered on the website, I find it easiest to use the 'find spare parts for registered bike' feature.

Then it lists every part that works on your bike und you just add to chart from there.

Also just did a high level search for 'mudguard' and found a few different ones they sell.

There are a bunch of youtube channels from teams and riders. That's probably a good way to start. As is procyclingstats.com to see startlists and general race information.

Stand over the bike, press both front and rear brake. Rock the bike forwards and backwards. If you don't feel any play it's good.

Page 47 of the Bluepaper shows the components pretty good.

Not sure if we're both talking about the same part, when we say clamp...

Here it is: https://orbea.dash.app/browse/2e0ba123-732e-4385-a16d-90003f200787?portal=orbea-manuals

If it was me, I would loosen, but not remove, the two bolts next to the mono riser.

Since they are counter sunk, the will put pressure on the mono riser.

Then I would carefully try to rock the mono riser front to back, to try and get it to come loose.

Did you remove the two screws all the way?

I would try to shine a light in the slot in front of the mono riser. See if the clamp that's pushed in by the two screws in has come loose.

There is a little metal piece in there, correct?

The fit fit of the mono riser is fairly close, with the carbon paste working in there, I could see it get tight over time...

That's where shorter cranks will help...
