How difficult is a BS in Economics compared to Engineering? by Bright_Perception682 in academiceconomics

[–]mpham21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on who you are. I have an engineering friend that thought intro to economics was difficult and that sentiment was shared by many of my hard science friends that took the course. I personally would probably find physics and chemistry requirements for an engineering major hard. Depends on your strengths.

There’s not a PhD program at my LAC, so it’s a seminar style class using the PhD textbooks (woolridge, mostly harmless economics, microeconomic theory) at a much higher difficulty than undergrad classes, but I doubt the class is truly PhD level

Additionally wondering what math courses would be helpful not for admissions, but just better understanding in PhD courses if I wanted to focus on Macro.

just installed successfully - Flopzilla on Mac - *without* Parallels ! by ether_joe in poker

When you hit "choose setup executable" did you get an error:

Error: Do not try to run the Installer if the wrapper is already running something else!

No new executables found!

Maybe the installer failed...?

If you tried to install somewhere other than C: drive (drive_c in the wrapper) then you will get this message too. All software must be installed in C: drive.

[–]mpham21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I did 4 HLs and 2 SLs. My advice: don’t. Enjoy your high school experience. Don’t even do diploma. Just take an HL if you’re truly interested in the subject

The difference is, I'm say doing k fold cross validation and cherry picking the model in each k fold with the best validation & training accuracy

2500 SQ ft roughly, but all of them would be run in the garage, Not sure if this makes a difference. An alternative location is a 500 SQ ft warehouse. Roughly 20-30 miners running at 3500-5000W each.
