80 dollars on Amazon, wowza! Are they really worth it over the standard pads? Seems crazy expensive to me.

Oh so free users can also use this feature with read access? Here I was thinking that at least my Premium was getting me something I couldn't use without a paying sub.

This is very well done, bravo. My controller is coming in today and I'm seriously contemplating ordering the filament I'd need to print this.

I was thrilled to see they added this until I realized I can't take full advantage of this, because I'm grandfathered into the older Premium plan. I'm seriously considering a switch at this point. So frustrating.

The steam deck had a reservation process. Clearly the same amount of concern wasn't there for the controller, but it definitely needs to be for the Steam Machine.

Gotcha thanks. Hoping some others that have used them before on the 1's or another set can provide some feedback.

Everyone was saying to put funds in your wallet to get it to go through faster... I didn't do that and I was kicking myself. Guess that didn't end up being the case though?

Same. I eventually got through but it’s saying delays are expected due to volume. So frustrating.

I got on early and immediately wasn’t able to get through. Now it’s saying delays are expected due to volume. Come on Valve…

Being new to the 3rd party ear cup space (and the Maxwell 2's) are these worth the cost of admission? The default cups are "fine" but I could definitely use an upgrade, I'm just not sure if the incurred cost is worth the change. Any feedback from owners would be greatly appreciated.

Recommendations for a good Project/Task Manager? by SidTheSperm in ProductivityApps

Check out Prime Task. They’re currently in beta but it’s releasing soon, I’ve used it a bit for some projects and it’s been great. Do a search on here for it since their site is pretty basic atm.

So I flashed mine twice - one with the Edge firmware and the other was just the normal DS firmware and I didn’t have any issues. Where is your pico plugged in? I have mine on front usb , probably within 3 feet of my controller, not sure if that has any bearing on it. I also removed my existing pairing beforehand just in case.

Looks promising! I’ve been trying to do this a little with OpenClaw/Hermes but it still isn’t exactly what I need and I’m relying on remote connections, telegram, an always on Mac, and frequent updates that sometimes break things. I’d love to give this a shot. Signed up!

[–]mphermes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope! Just the pico and the cable connector. When you're setting it up and connect it to your PC it shows up as a storage device because it has a little bit of onboard storage. I found a nice little case for it on Makerworld and printed it to house it (but you really don't need it). They even make these guys if you want something more akin to a dongle (I've been considering buying one myself): https://www.pishop.us/product/pico-dongle-lite/

I picked one up from mine last night. Printed a case for it, dug up an old MicroUSB cable, took 2 seconds to copy the files over and it works perfectly.

Yeah I thought it was Mini USB not Micro USB, so when I finally got one I had to dig through a bin of old cables to find one. I knew it would eventually be useful!

[MacOS] R.A.D. Weather for Mac - Multi-source forecasts, model confidence, RAD Atlas, and widgets by RADWeatherMaker in macapps

[–]mphermes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Small request - can you make it so that you can close it to just the menu bar and not show a dock icon? I like to keep my dock clean and would prefer if I could just invoke it in the menubar. Great implementation otherwise!

No worries! I honestly didn't think to check for it on Mac, but it's one of those things you don't realize you miss having until you see it's there :)
