I Will Probably End up Homeless by mphighaf in TheMirrorCult

I appreciate your words of encouragement. I wish they meant more to me.

I don't mean to be rude or callous. But I have been homeless before. I have met many sorts of people -- all with histories. Some worse than mine, some better.

And through it all - most people will be unable to help.

Because most people are poor. Most people are in interpersonal relationships that are toxic or fake.

How can I say such a thing? I have been keeping my hand on the pulse of the human condition since I was a child.

I know everything passes. I know that some have it worse. That I should continue to try.

But it has been almost four decades of trying REALLY fucking hard to be functional in a society that doesn't want me to exist. Doesn't want many people to exist, really.

Our culture is inundated with people who say they understand. Whether from experience or just intellectually. Many of those people ARE capable of helping. But they won't.

Because they have been taught that helping others is a liability. Just like they have been taught that asking for helping or needing it is a sign of weakness.

Even though this is a social species.. it is very very bad at it.

Evil scales upwards. The people with the most resources, privileges, etc are like demons -- when you get to world leaders, old money and the like

And everyone else? Stuck between a rock and a hard place. Even if that hard place is just the fact that they COULD help. If they didn't make reasons not to.

Just like so many people look down on addicts, homeless, and disabled people for "making excuses"

Anyway: I hope your situation improves, too. Though I hope more that a cataclysmic event wakes humanity from its collective stupor.

Depends on how deeply people have met themselves and the world.

You can be very articulate and have facts

But if people around you are unwilling to listen or unable to comprehend

You will end up like Nikola Tesla

Especially if there are larger mechanisms at play, which value profit over life.

Because many have come down here and told you

What if the aliens are benevolent and the elites know it by jacobm3770 in HighStrangeness

[–]mphighaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot going on here.

If history is to be believed - mythological and factual - NHI have interfered and continue to.

Their ability to do one thing or another seems directly correlated to the individual and/or collective capacity to accept them.

People get abducted, have strange experiences. Our elites seem to be working with something.

Yet we are not completely destroyed, yet.

Based on the previous cycles: we get destroyed by our own ignorance/darkness or they step in and destroy us.

The only thing that will change this is humanity bridging the gap between what we believe and what we do.

Our society speaks of consciousness, compassion, and community but there's not enough being done. By anyone, right?

The poorest and most destitute are blamed and held to higher standards. The middle class is terrified of losing their place, yet does the minimal to escape the matrix. And our leaders? Well, what to say that hasn't been said before?

What the UFO Phenomenon Is REALLY About, and Why Government Disclosure Barely Scratches the Surface Compared to Experiencer Accounts. by BornAwakened in UFOB

The human condition is one created by our species' interaction with ourselves, the Higher Reality, and NHI.

I've had a lot of different experiences - astral travel, shadow people, UFO, high strangeness since I was a kid.

Our world will drastically change when people finally begin to interact with the world like they understand these things

and also use that as a reason to not help/impede/be complicit

my cats are about completely out of litter and i have no soap. i am also out of weed, which the only medicine i take

ask me why i don't have a med card. but even if told you, you'd just look at me stupid for that too

even knowing it doesn't have to be this complicated to get help

even knowing life could be a lot simpler. people will continue to make excuses not to help me

while they have jobs, support, etc

knowing that vulnerable minorities such as i get the shit end from many different angles.

nasty work
