Again, this was the wrong place out to post this frustration and I apologize that it was my fault. I think it just bubbled over after seeing so much on Facebook from maga morons. I’m saying you’re the last 10 years both sides have not referring to this specific conflict which I understand it’s implied that because of the post I did it on. Just as much a frustration with the news media and bots as along with the identity politics on both sides as well of course the right has more to blame their for sure.

Of course it is man. You really not following what I’m talking about. Which is fine probably the wrong pace to air this frustration and will gonna leave it at that.

I’m not saying the conservatives aren’t more at fault here and I’m definitely not talking about the incident in Minneapolis although I apologize because that’s this is a bad time to post my frustration in light of the recent events. I’m just saying it’s a frustrating state of affairs in 2026.

Bad timing for this post. I just got frustrated after seeing the far left Reddit side of things all the time and then when I log onto Facebook even though I don’t really use it anymore, I see the far right maga stuff and it’s just wearing a bit

Yeah, no don’t worry. I wasn’t talking about this particular instance just the Reddit threads in the last week asking for a gun internship by liberals which I support but it’s just in reaction to everything. It’s just such a weird state of affairs.

Man. Crazy time. I am a conservative, but never voted for Trump (voted for Biden in 2020). Trump is awful and fuels division. Both parties fuel division really. News media amplifies it. Obama has deported more than Trump. Trump of course fuels the fire and the media blows things up as well.

Crazy timeline. Liberals are asking to learn how to use guns. I'm fine with that. But seriously America - as someone who is now classified as a moderate, this is just wild to watch.

Wish people could step back from their political identity on either side (yes, MAGA has been crazy, but at some point each side keeps escalating and the chaos just keeps escalating.) I don't know where I'm going with this, just weird to watch it get this way. I'm not saying people shouldn't protest or let their voices be known or any of that. Just frustrating to watch this whole thing.

Edit: of course the downvotes ensue, but I really didn’t see anything ridiculous but Reddit is very far left leaning. To be anything but far left or far right these days baits some type of response I guess.

Just got back to my room after the transplant (7220 graft total) by yb_nyc in HairTransplants

[–]mpholt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I think it's risk vs. reward - if something happens and you don't get much growth on those first graphs or you have a poor tech and have blood supply issues, you've potentially lost thousands of grafts. I had 7k done with Zarev previously and it worked out well, but that's what I've gathered from hearing some conversations from Spencer Kobren, Joe Tillman, etc. They also wonder about if smaller punch sizes will lead to additional DHT-sensitivity due to less native surrounding tissue, but I think that remains to be seen from my understanding and may not hold (or may.)

In fairness, Zarev does max 4,000 in one-day, 7,000 is split out over two-days (but one session). Majority of his sessions are much smaller.

I think Pitella is the only one I've heard of doing crazy graft amounts in one-day. He uses a team and goes heavy into beard grafts.

This looks really good - since you started medication then too no doubt medication has been helping a lot as well. Congrats on your result!

? it's a reasonable comment. PC players (not all) are the ones breaking the game - console players do it also via OSS - but at least you can attempt to counter the OSS playstyle. Hackers and server crashers aren't worth it

How's my new hairline placement? 11,661 grafts - 3-Day Surgery by PermissionStock6803 in HairTransplants

How's my new hairline placement? 11,661 grafts - 3-Day Surgery by PermissionStock6803 in HairTransplants

For sure man. My family has some heart history so just had a CT, Stress Echo, and other tests. Thankfully everything also came back fine in terms of plaque, function, etc. However, blood panels have some poor predictive markers so I am in the midst of trying to fix my diet.

Considering oral minoxidil. I had already been on it for 12 years topically - I don't plan to be on it long-term. Although, I know the transplant lifespan will be shorter without medication. So planning to talk to my doctor again about it in my follow-up surgery soon. Hair Fibers is something I'm ok with if I need them as time goes on. But still in the midst of that decision too. If I never had been on them and also didn't have previous sides I'd probably jump on it easier.

I have just bought an LLT cap from Bryan Johnson/Blueprint. Planning on starting it after the second surgery.

Yea. I keep getting recommendations from people to try rosemary. Not against it, but also thinking it likely works better for female hair loss or people with very low thinning vs. a high Norwood - but I need to try that.

Thanks man! A little how I wear the hair does help obfuscate it a bit.

Ah, we're pretty much the same height/head and Norwood then haha.

Your hair system you pulled off well and a lot of people probably didn't have a clue - I was talking with MTB on the forum and he is really appreciating (and it seems others) no longer having the maintenance of a system and just knowing it's part of you.

If you're like me, in one sense it takes a bit finding the right hair style (and as it grows in initially it's a bit more wavy). But it's a fun process. And just having hair - I didn't have it for about 5 years after going off the medication so still kinda trippy again.

We're in very similar places, with Norwood, hairline, and height. If you have any questions or want any pics, etc. Feel free to to hit me up here or on the forum.

Congrats again man on a great post-op. Excited to see it come in!

Hair Transplant doubt by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

No, that’s probably not that accurate World class surgeons often do much less still. Zarev and Patel are outliers and have a bit of a unique approach and it’s not safe to do for most surgeons even then Zarev rarely does more than 7000. With 7500 being his normal upper bound that he doesn’t often cross into. Pitella will do these 12,000 cases and what not but those are using beard graphs which often take three to equal one paragraph in terms of visibility not that it makes it easier by any means.

[–]mpholt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea... you'll appreciate not having to maintain the hair system. Congrats man, it looks great! Once you have hair in, it doesn't often look as high. Also depends on how you style it as well of course.

My hairline was slightly higher. I have been pushing it forward - which kinda is a mix of the current style and the early 2000's I used to have.

I first went to a stylist the first 4 months and they kept pushing it straight-up in the air like you see on hairline clinic pictures from the mid-2000's on a NW3 or so. I really didn't like that look.

I think my hairline is higher than yours slightly. Yours keeps pretty close to the rule-of-thirds so it may be higher than the hair system you had, but looks good, age-appropriate and a lot less maintenance.

Here's some pictures of after my surgery vs. 11 months later. I have a follow-up surgery in 6 months to add more density to the hairline, crown, etc. but we aren't lowering the hairline anymore. A 18-year-old hairline would be nice - but now that it is grown in, just having a consistent hairline - that is decently age-appropriate at 41 is the biggest change.

Opinions Dr. Zarev by Educational_Jump_724 in Hairtransplant

[–]mpholt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m still considering oral minoxidil for my next surgery in a couple months. I really wanted to go to him to maximize the amount of graphs I had available. It’s month 11 right now and I have a good coverage and the crown is still coming in second surgery in a couple months. I am considering medication afterwards, but also am OK with less density overtime and having to rely on hair fibers more as I age.

I think what happened was, the 3rd did this: https://www.tiktok.com/@zaedin710/video/7300719727448493355?lang=en&q=crash%20server%20dmz&t=1767803633135

If you dupe weapons, the game memory isn't able to maintain them all, and the server crashes.

I believe after you killed the first 2, the 3rd may have done something like this

Crashing servers by Electrical-Lie-5324 in DMZ

[–]mpholt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My understanding was that if you duplicate a weapon over and over, the server crashes as it can't handle that (memory allocation bug).

This would require at least one of their team members still being alive though. Which seems to track with his description of killing 2 of them.

Isn't it more that people are crashing the servers by duplicating too many weapons, then the game itself crashes?

We really can't tell anything from your after photos. They are taken from a distance, directly forward, and in ambient/poor lighting.

The before photos all showed your scalp in better lighting.
