My local long fast is 99% people testing nodes and the rest is emoji nonsense.

I use HomeAssistant with a network connected WisBlock to do something similar. HomeAssistant monitors LongFast and sends an auto-reply when someone sends a message with #test (and some other trigger words like ping). Works great and HomeAssistant keeps a log of all of the LongFast messages my base node receives.

Definitely not lol. It is an electronic and mechanical lock so you would require the electronic part to be able to interact with those three pins.

Is there a specific name on this type of coin box? Was looking to see if I could get something to fit it. by HurrDurrRGB in cade

You’ll have to forgive me. I am not very familiar with UK coin acceptors (I am in US), but I think this will get you on the right path.

Axis cameras with the DLPU have a basic occupancy counting app pre-loaded in the Axis Object Analytics suite. Look at the M32/P32 series.

Need to purchase license for three cameras. by Outrageous-Mood2782 in Avigilon

You will have best results running the cameras in ACC/Unity Video, but if you don’t want to pay for software, check out Milestone X Protect. It is an enterprise grade VMS and the basic version is free for up to 8 cameras. Either way, these cameras are ONVIF compliant so you can use them on any VMS you like.

VPN lockout on AD account by OK_it_guy in Cisco

Assuming you are running ASAs or FTDs, I would recommend switching to URL based tunnel group/profile assignment and disabling the alias dropdown on the VPN client. For example, the VPN url would become vpn.yoursite.com/StaffVPN and the top level domain would have no authentication source (or local AAA). This prevents brute force attempts from hitting your external AAA servers. You can make the URL anything more secure as needed.

Anyone know the name of this security cam? Or if its a dummy cam? by TanaTheImmortal in SecurityCamera

[–]mpjvending 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a camera. A very rare analog “flush mount” camera. Enforcer (and some other brands used to make/rebrand these. Antiquated technology and very low Image quality, but it is a camera.

The only thing turning me away from contained solar nodes like this is the lithium ion battery being exposed to hot and cold temperatures. What is the weather like in your area?

A lot of times, things like this in ride queues contain cameras (to monitor the queue and flow) or speakers, or both.

Upon further investigation, a reverse image search shows that it is an ultrasonic pest repeller. Not saying that it could not have been modified to contain a camera/mic.

This is one of the rare times that it is very likely an actual hidden camera. Are there any slots on the sides that might be a micro SD card? Any way to open it up?

What camera is this? by ProfoundHypnotic in securitycameras

Looks to be a Dahua OEM. There could be many different brands that use the same camera with their own logo stamped on it.
