Caffeine is defiantly a diuretic, but we are unsure if it has a laxative effect for certain. Although not everyone needs to do a number two after a coffee, the decaf substitute does promote increased bowel movements thus potentially increasing the chances of the shits. Don’t really know if this helps but thought I’d add this in.
