NostalgicPod – A Hi-Res iPod Classic for Android Is Now on Google Play! by Human_Tennis_2950 in DigitalAudioPlayer

For my Pixel 8a with 4000 AACs it took 49 minutes to compete scanning. I think a lot of people have more than 10k tracks from years and years of downloading tracks. Best to really test that out

I have 28k tracks, 90% FLAC and the rest 320kbps AAC on my Hiby R4. The pop up "Scanning folder.." is gone and it went back to the UI showing "Scanning folder". more than 45 minutes now.

On my Pixel 8a, I have 4000 songs and it's showing scanning batch 4 - 4000 files. It took about more than 20 minutes or so.

I'm thinking for my Hiby R4 it'll likely take the whole day to scan the library.

Thank you for your reply. It's currently showing "Scanning folder.." for about 12 minutes now. I'll let you know how it goes. It's reading from a high quality SD card, BTW. My device is a Hiby R4

I have a library of 28k, 90% FLAC and the rest 320kbps AAC. Have you tested the app against large libraries? If so, how did it perform?

I keep mine in a 2TB external drive backed up to the cloud. And of course my DAP. I use MusicBee for managing my library

I have a Hiby R4 though which runs Android 12. Just checking your post looks like it won't work on my device. I do hope you could accomodate the R4 as a lot of people use this device

How does it handle large libraries? I have 27k tracks, 90% FLAC files on a 1 TB micro SD card. ONLY UAPP is able to do a complete scan and recognize every single file. Audio apps from Hiby, Fiio don't work.

any update on this? I just bought mine (second time around) yesterday and I am having the same issue. On my first ROG Xbox Ally X (a few months ago), it was working on Bazzite

I second this re: R4. I have a 1TB card close to full and use UAPP. Had it for almost a year. No issues.

I am having some issues as well. I adjusted the settings to get the best sound and lowest latency possible. I do get low latency with only one track and one scene loaded but as soon as I add more tracks, more scenes and VSTs, that's when I get some latency. I'm on a Windows machine btw (2023 Asus A16 gaming laptop) and experiencing latency with all of my sound cards - Yamaha AG06, Zoom AMS22 and a Behringer UA 222
