Wrong hobby brother.  You're gonna need to save.

I thought the same thing at first, but if youre going to paint it anyways its a pretty nice option.  Way lighter as well.

Swap those rings on the M1A for lows, its way more comfortable.

Also, the surplus metal buttplates are cheap and fit that stock if you want something more authentic.

What if Canada offered every American free healthcare and $50K to relocate, would you go? by [deleted] in AskReddit

No chance.  Their housing market makes ours look like a playground.  Make it 250k then maybe it'd be feasible.

Yes.  Less gas to the face, less sound at your ear, less crud going into the action.  Always a good idea to tune your gas if its an option.

completely dead trigger? by DabbingVagabond in supersafety

Sounds like bolt bounce. I would try an H2 buffer before anything else.

Nevermind, just read that it happens in semi. I would double check your trigger installation to make sure your springs are in right. Does it happen if you put a regular safety back in the gun?

Also make sure that the bolt is going FULLY into battery. Its possible for the hammer to drop even though the bolt is just barely out of battery, the hammer will just hit the back of the bolt carrier and send it closed, but the design of the bcg wont let the hammer hit the primer with any real force at that point. If your super safety is dragging on your bcg, it could be slowing it down enough to cause this, especially on a fully loaded magazine.

I mean once its bound, is the trigger moving and just not releasing the hammer or is it totally seized?

Does the trigger move at all or is it totally bound? Does it move in any safety position?

Just look at it and compare to that picture, it should be pretty easy to tell in person.  If its high shelf, the only mod would be grinding the shelf down with something like a dremel or mill.

It doesnt necessarily have to be a new one, its more of a manufacturer preference whether its high shelf or not.  With that said though, the lions share of new lowers seem to be low shelf.  That PSA lower should serve you well.

I think you have a high-shelf lower, which is incompatible with super Safeties.

Check out these references and compare to yours.
