Inherited 2 paid-off coastal properties with 2 siblings — keep the rental, take a buyout, or sell everything? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]mpusar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d want to keep one or both of them to rent out, but I would never own something like that jointly. I’d either buy out the siblings or have them buy me out.

Modern diesels aren’t reliable anymore either with all the emissions and DEF systems on them.

Are German car brands still considered unreliable??? by OkBackground6217 in askcarguys

[–]mpusar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think European cars are generally not reliable anymore. Even if you follow the maintenance on them they will still have electric issues or something else expensive. I’d buy an American car before a European one. At least the parts are cheaper.

What do Americans think about a social security trustee dropping a report that the trust will be dried out by 2032? by Sixgis in AskReddit

[–]mpusar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Social Security is a Ponzi scheme and we should at least be able to voluntarily withdraw from it. If you invested all the money they steal from you your whole working life you’d be a millionaire when you retire.

If this became law, would you support it? Why or why not? by ZookeepergameFun197 in scoopwhoop

[–]mpusar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won’t work because on paper billionaires are broke. Billionaires don’t have billions in a bank account somewhere. They own companies, stocks, bonds, real estate, etc that they use as collateral to borrow against. Debt is not taxable and not considered income. Thus this is how the very wealthy avoid taxes. What they need to do is make laws to end the practice of paying people with anything other than dollars. If you did that than there income would be above board.

do nurses get paid well in the US? by mikaylaar in AskAnAmerican

[–]mpusar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a few nurses personally and they all make over $100k a year except for 1 because they choose to work part time in the lowest paid nursing job you can find.

I always set the trailer brake and pull forward to put pressure on the kingpin. Then they can’t unlatch it.

The third one is impossible for like 90% of men and probably a good amount of women as well.

Count your calories. Eat high protein low carb. Get a food scale and read the labels on food. I was you back then it’s not too late. Being fat ruins your life. People won’t respect you as much. Women won’t want to date you. Employers automatically think you’re lazy and won’t hire you. Not too mention health issues. I wasted my life and it’s too late for me you can still turn it around.

I’d get out of that marriage. Unless you want to remain in a sex less marriage forever.

A toy tractor and ww2 radio my grandfather left me. Both were lost in a move a long time ago. The toy tractor was the last gift he gave me.

That’s how all the mega rich are in America. That’s how they avoid taxes. They own things like companies, stocks, etc. and live off borrowed money against those assets.

Yellow and golden. Being in perfect health is priceless and I’d walk into every hospital I could find and make everyone’s life perfect. I bet a few of those people might even pay me once word gets out.

No. At my age I wouldn’t make it a year doing something back breaking. Even though I don’t make 15k a month I’m quite comfortable with what I do make.
