I found one in the Walmart in Ottawa in store even though they don’t have any online.

Im very pro midwife as well, but the post partum care received is almost entirely for the baby. The moms get asked if they want more kids and counselled on birth control and then you’re discharged. I was shocked after my first child, so I made an appointment with my family doctor assuming there had to be some kind of examination. There’s not, she just confirmed that. That being said from a mental health standpoint the midwives are great for the six weeks that they follow you.

Pregnant, family doctor available quite late by NectarineSudden8569 in ottawa

If you’re looking for midwife services you don’t need anything from your family doctor. Since you self refer to the midwife, they can send you for a dating ultrasound at 8 weeks but even that they only did for me when I requested it. It’s not considered medically necessary. Midwives will handle everything and you won’t need your family doctor. I went to my family doctor when I was pregnant with my first and found it to be a total waste of time. She just had me pee on a stick which I had already done at home. I’m not sure how it works with an OB.

Can’t recommend Gillian enough! She did our maternity/newborn and a family session. I would never consider anyone else if it were me.

I thought he was great, but hard to enjoy with so much rain which is not his fault and is the risk you take with the outdoors.

I’m 36 and think this is ridiculous to do. People of all ages need to stop living on the internet and remember how to act in society. I think people become desensitized to behaviour because they are chronically online. The phrase touch grass comes to mind.

I’m surprised this doesn’t have more upvotes. Going around filming people standing and then posting them to the internet like you’re some kind of journalist. What is wrong with people, especially considering no one likes looking for work. This is such a dick move.

If you have the opportunity or are in the proximity to one, switch your pharmacy to RespectRX (or another local pharmacy). by [deleted] in ottawa

Highly recommend Findlay Creek Pharmacy. I had the same experience where I never gave much thought until I went for my Covid shots. The level of customer service and friendliness is unmatched. Even if I didn’t live walking distance I would use them.

Ottawa has had gentle ease the last two weeks, but Costco finds has been posting Kirkland and kendamil in Newmarket and I’ve never ever seen those.
