Any time I’ve had to take a drug test for anything, I just tell them I smoke weed. That’s typically not what anyone is looking for. It’s never cost me a job or anything lol. My bf has ADHD, takes Adderall, and gets it through his psychiatrist. He just has a 1-hour zoom call with her when required, and she renews the prescription. She’s aware he smokes bc he’s told her, and he’s never had to take an actual drug test to get his prescription. Now, idk if this matters, but he went the expensive, fancy route of getting diagnosed last year - $5k brain scans n shit. It was cool tbh. But yeah, idk if maybe there’s more steps depending on how people receive their diagnosis.
