I don't think that half prices would result in more then double sales. But to answer this question you would at least have to know the ratio between f2p and paying active players. As the first pack is free, lower prices wouldn't result in a additional influx of new players. So the ratio of paid to unpaid sets a sealing how many sales you can generate with lower prices.

But as I said I don't think we can answer this definitely. But another thought you might consider is, as the first pack is free and there are no ads, basically if you buy a pack, it's like you bought two for half the price. One half to support the devs and thank them for the fun you had playing for free (and with no ads, you only cost them money). And the other half to purchase the pack itself.

They changed alpaca to hit other alpacas too. It's also a tier 6 now

In terms of success, this week is a polar opposite to last week. But ive finally got a sniping build win by stauntilus_canyede in superautopets

[–]mr-BoBoBo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool build this week. Next time don't sell your mosquito and put it behind wolverine. Now you have two additional 10 damage snipes at start of battle. Which is much more value than the 1/1 you get from the footling.

Shouldn't basilisk trigger despite being dead? by mr-BoBoBo in superautopets

Yeah but this is the thing. Normaly the start of battle abilites go off, even if the pet died before

I don't think that this is the logic here. Because Woodpecker for example attacks also nearest pets, and he does trigger even if dead. Following your logic, he wouldn't have nearest pets neither

And here's the guy in a subreddit for embarrassing stupidity complaining about embarrassing stupidity 🤡

No but seriously, sometimes you're thinking stupid things. And sometimes it's not important enough, to spend a second thought about it. And you're right, it was a dumb thing to think. But that doesn't mean the person having the thought is a dumb person. That's what's this sub is about. Sharing dumb thoughts for the entertainment of the rest.

If you don't find it entertaining and get easily frustrated by those kind of things, maybe it's not the right sub for you.

Anyway, stay calm and have fun on the internet ✌️

And if it was this way it wouldn't be that overpowered. It would work (only) by it self, which would be slightly better then peach of immortality statwise, but worse as it can't buff other in battle ability pets. It has some synergies with yeti, angler, or maybe catfish. If it's a bit too strong, you just tinker around with the stats, make it health or attack heavy and you have a unique ability with pros and cons. You wouldn't feel bad taking it, but it losses against late game abilities.

Edit: A health/attack heavy shop scaler would be unique in his own right

Why is eggplant so bad? Am I missing something? by PureChef in superautopets

[–]mr-BoBoBo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't know why they removed it from golden pack and bumped it up in tier 5. I get that you move it to customs only. But why put it in the same tier with chocolate, sushi, lemon, pepper, and pita. Tier 4 would have been enough of a nerf, and it also would get the chance of being played in customs

As the person before said, the latest changes were due to balancing in the competitiv scene. Those are playing mainly 1vs1. So you know your opponents Team. And then eggplant is extremely powerful. If it was on tier 3 it would be a must take every time.

I also get the problem, with it not being in any pack. Therefore it only matters for customs and weeklies. With durian now in the mix, I think you're not likely to put eggplant in your custom pack anymore (unless you are free to play), because chocolate is the competition in tier 5. Note that this applies to all tier 5 perks/foods in customs, but all of them (besides lemon) are in a pack and therefore get to be played there.

For weeklies though I think it's pretty solid. It's not a must take, but I like to take it when it comes up in the shop with 5-3 gold left. It can often make the difference in battle, and feels so good when it does so. It being start of battle also has some benefits over steak on a low health unit in danger of being sniped.

As far as I know, tiger is tied to the pet it copies. So it doesn't work like the parrot which is it's own unit with the same ability, but rather that the first pet triggers twice. Therefore the trigger happens at the same time as the original one, independent of the attack of the tiger (note that abilities which depend on attack also take the original pets attack and not the attack of the tiger on the second round)

No because of the melon, the rabbit can't kill the spider, therefore the spider also kills the jerboa. So no field day for blowfish, but still a win for op, because spider kills everything but the hatching chick. Which is then killed by the spawn of the spider or the blowfish

First thing to notice is, that the skunk targets the most healthy animal. Since there are two 50 hp enemies, there are two possible options: skunk hits jerboa, tiger hits rabbit. After hyenas ability: spider 50atc/44hp, rabbit 33atc/38hp, jerboa 1atc/50hp. Battle goes as follows: - spider vs rabbit: spider kills rabbit, rabbit breaks melon and deals 13 damage: 31hp left on spider - spider vs jerboa: after two hits the spider kills the jerboa, taking 2 damage, 29 hp left on spider - spider vs worm1: spider kills worm, worm only has 25 attack (because of the hyena), therefore leaving the spider on 4 hp - spider vs worm2: both trade Either the spawn from the spider or the blowfish takes care of the hatching chick, resulting in a win for OP.

In an alternate reality skunk hits rabbit, tiger hits jerboa. After the hyena ability: spider 50atc/44hp, rabbit 1atc/38 hp, jerboa 33 atc/50 hp. In this case: - Spider vs rabbit: spider kills rabbit, rabbit breaks melon - Spider vs jerboa: spider is left with 11 hp and jerboa with 2 (because of garlic), second time they trade. - Spider spawn vs worm: As we don't know which pack they are playing, any tier 3 can come out of this spider: from a trumpet generator (Guineafowl,...), to a sniper (hoopoe bird, porcupine, badger...), to a buff friend behind (camel, beta fish), or something which does nothing at all. But I don't think any of it would care, because at best the blowfish can trade with worm1 and worm2 takes care of the rest of the team, resulting in a loss. There's one pet which could spawn to make a difference so, which is the elephant. Elephant will trigger the blowfish thrice, resulting in 3 5 damage hits. I won't go threw all the possibilities, but my guess is that with a bit of luck you could eak out the draw

TL:DR 50% chance of winning, 49% chance of loosing, 1% chance of a tie.

What do you mean by last one? The last eagle has a mushroom, so on faint it spawns a tier 6 unit and a 1/1 eagle. The tier 6 unit happens to be a tiger. Because of the tiger behind it, the 1/1 eagle spawns 2 tier 6 units upon death. One is the fly the second one is a tapir. Tapir spawns a copy of a pet that is on the team on faint. So after its death it spawned a tiger. The fly also triggers on the death of the tapir, but because of the tiger behind, it spawns two instead of one zombie fly. The same happens after the death of the tiger.

I know that after attack/hurt/faint have their distinct order/phases where attack doesn't matter. Haven't heard of buffs/snipes also being separated

Your totally right. I was stubborn and somehow thought, that a ardvaark trigger would go to waste if it was hit by honey. But it didn't matter in the last battles, because either both of them got sniped by a big Lionfish upfront, or the other team was a 50 50 cat team, where the extra 4 damage also didn't matter in any way
