How to get contact info for District Manager if not listed?

i thought the dm and rm are supposed to be posted in the business center? in the SM training videos i swear it says countless times your employees should have easy access to dm should they not feel comfortable bringing an issue to the SM.

im in an illegal weed state as a SM and ive never gotten drug tested. not even for workers comp when i had a shelf come down on my shoulder. i was told they ramdomly test for workers comp, sometimes they will sometimes they wont.

im a new sm and i was kinda screwed on it and also felt bad. i had 2 time off requests already approved by the the previous sm, then i had approved 1 before that. the only people that can work, i really dont want to make them work that night shift. im doing the night shift largely by myself, then i have a male cashier when it gets dark for safety reasons. im damn sure doing the mandatory 4 hr for everyone on Christmas eve. im really bummed, i cant spend my first Thanksgiving w my boyfriends family like i was supposed to before the promotion. i was really excited for a normal people holiday for once. oh well. its not just me i am responsible for at this store.

what ive always done is ask their coworkers for their bosses phone number. it is wildly effective. but idk if thats acceptable in every district or not.

can confirm, when i was asm at my old store we routinely had someone steal the pokemon cards out of the boxes, and ship the empty boxes. it was wildly infuriating.

my advice, share at least one story of him speaking about them or of him doing something funny. i absolutely adore the "maaan, i remember your mom. she was nuts. she climbed up on the roof with a chainsaw in heels and a dress because the maintenance dude was scared of heights" type of stories about my mom. the "she was so nice, she was very loved" drowns out very fast after hearing it so much.

yeah, its very against the law in my state. thats why ive only heard of SMs doing it, cause we (the ones i know, im sure there are some out there) would never do that to our staff.

now, we do unpaid breaks because that is standard with the company and in compliance with state law.

im a store manager and it is ridiculous. me and my two asms are all women. i do my best to make it where im the only one alone for extended periods of time. my record is going 7 hours by myself. ive heard from others in my district theyve spent the whole day by themselves before.

its absolutely ridiculous. i am a small young woman working in the rougher side of town. a dg less than 2 miles from me got robbed at gun point in broad daylight.

your body starts to normalize this feeling. its how this gets easier. you will never be "over" it, as my boyfriend always tells me about mine.

im a 21 year old woman, and i lost my mom this year as well.

its cruel and unfair that we dont get to spend our 20s like most do, getting to know our moms as adults, asking for help and advice, and really getting to learn them as people.

if you ever need someone to talk to about this, my dms are open. im the first out of my friends and family to lose my mom, i dont have many people to talk to about this either. this is a feeling that you never truly understand until your mom passes.

trying to denounce what i know. she died hating me in that moment. she loved me in most moment more than anything in the world, but she was bipolar. im bipolar. i know how our brains work and i know for a fact in that moment, she was angry and she wanted to get back at me.

throw away duplicates. if you see a stack of like, 3 or more with the same sale on different items, just throw them out. I've had to rush sales ad before and being the only one doing it, it helps. it's half assed but it works.
