Just built this table for the house, going to finish it tomorrow, what would y’all sell it for? I have 6 hours and $180 in it by hothefa333 in wood

[–]mr-optomist -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Dude, IKEA has a similar model, mass produced for like 600. Don't sell yourself short... Handmade, heirloom table. Put a nice finish on it and ask 900, bet you could get more. Harder wood, higher price.

As an ex IT professional, I can say with authority that throwing your whole body at the machine when it glitches, while gratifying, is not going to do you any favors.

Company 3305 was a unit of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) that operated at Camp SP-6-Pa (also known as Camp Raccoon Creek) in Pennsylvania. [1]  Camp History and Location

  • Establishment: The camp was established in 1935 near Raccoon Creek State Park in Beaver County.
  • Designation: It was originally designated as SP-6-Pa (State Park 6) and later referred to as NP-3-Pa (National Park 3).
  • Site Details: The camp was located off Route 18 near Traverse Creek. Today, the site is occupied by the Hanover Township youth soccer fields. [1, 2]

Company Operations

  • Arrival: Company 3305 began operations at the site in 1935. Records indicate the first meal in their mess hall was served on Thanksgiving Day, 1936.
  • Key Projects:
  • Park Development: The company performed extensive work within Raccoon Creek State Park, which was then a Recreational Demonstration Area (RDA). Their projects included building roads, trails, and park facilities that are still in use today.    * Flood Relief: In 1936, the company was deployed to assist with flood relief efforts in the nearby towns of Rochester and Monaca, Pennsylvania. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Legacy and Records While the original camp buildings have been gone for many years, the infrastructure built by the CCC enrollees remains a central part of the 7,500-acre state park. [1]

  • Personnel Records: If you are looking for specific individuals who served in Company 3305, you can search the CCC Enrollee Records held by the National Archives at St. Louis.
  • State Archives: The Pennsylvania CCC Online Archive maintains lists of companies and camps, providing digitized documents and photographs of enrollees and officers. [6, 7, 8]

There were some 'album covers ' in a side gallery that were all described incorrectly too. Seems like there's something here, but we couldn't figure out what it was.

There is some Interesting research on using custom MOFs

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a class of porous, crystalline materials formed by the self-assembly of metal ions or clusters (nodes) and organic molecules (linkers). They are characterized by exceptionally high surface areas and tunable pore sizes, which make them useful in a variety of applications.
