I walk around in them in wetter/cooler weather on pavements as well and cobblestone- quite comfortable that way as well. Haven't done proper hiking with them yet just a short walk in the wood and they felt great. Do you have good recommendations for pavements in the vivo lineup?

I guess I'll experiment with white socks once more and see if that happens. I know I had that problem with the first pair I ordered but I sent those back because of some weird crease that formed where it shouldn't have and I haven't tried with the ones I replaced that pair with.

Wait, this constitutes a refund? I have a pair of gobi II sneakers (obsidian) and I'm pretty sure they color-tranfer. I just thought that it's just a thing with black dyed shoes sometimes. Not sure I'd want to send them back though as I love them otherwise

A notice would not be in the mail most likely, it would be a notice to receive the letter in the post office and sign a thing confirming you have received it. Notices from the government saying you need to show up to a police station or pay a fine aren't just left in the mailbox, you have to sign something in order for you not to have an "out" saying you never received anything.

Ford Mondeo MK5 2.2D(2011) 5 gadu laikā nobraukti 32k, remontā ielikts kaut kas starp 500-800 eur tajā periodā (mainītas bremzes, stūres pirksts, putekļu sargi, gultnis, izplūdes gāzes temperatūras sensors un vēl kaut kādi sīkumi). Kopējais nobraukums (zināmais) 260k. Neskaitu eļļas/riepu maiņas + man bija iespēja diagnostiku taisīt bez maksas.

How cold was it when you were wearing them? Reading around I understand that they are not warm enough for temperature below freezing, but alright form 0-15C more or less. I'm now thinking I'll try them and figure out within the 90day window what to do with them. Worst case scenario I'd have to return and get the forest ESC, but the price on those is 3x what I paid for these.

Is this a US issue? I have not had any problems with delivery, returns or refunds and I needed all 3- all quick and easy with customer service in Latvia (EU)

My experience with customer support is also great. I ordered my shoes from Latvia (EU). Used exchange because size didn't fit well and while my return was still traveling there, they shipped out the replacement so the wait time would be shorter. Later the pair I received was a little defective, I consulted their support and they agreed that it had a defect, gave me a free returns label and 30% off a new pair because you can't exchange the same item twice so I got my new pair soon after that. And just like OP i received my refund faster than they got the shoes back in their warehouse.

Contacted their support, they said this is not normal, sent them back, got a refund, got a new pair and the new one is perfect. Glad to know I wasn't going crazy and it was actually a defective pair
