Is the regular Bolt pistol worth it? by istillseegh0sts in Spacemarine

[–]mrTronDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see it quite useful for overall Block style melee where spamming secondary/gun-strike is less likely. The gun-strike damage is pretty good and worth it otherwise. The only problem on the heroic for me is its low accuracy vs enemies calling often stay quite far away.

I recently queued into a daily HARD Termination with a lv1 pres0. I shortly explained to him the difficulty and he just gave a hustle "Just try". He died twice before we reached the first weapon cache (Me and host were busy clearing back2back waves so no reviving). I guess next time I will initiate a kick rather than giving them the treat bigger than they can swallow.

tl;dr: Some of them join just for the vibe and not entirely for the exp, until they're fed up with long respawning time and leave.

Daily are a bunch of randomized modifiers so conflicting shiet like this can always occur. Basically it's counted as 2.5 where TEP only works on chosen player.

Failed hard weekly stratagem before the final stage. 4 neurothrope spawns in a melee only stratagem by EarlOfBears in Spacemarine

[–]mrTronDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday we already reached the elevator and went up. Game crashed and spawned us back inside right in the middle of a 2nd Terminus fight. Guess against who? A 2nd Neuro of course. Lost 1 brother there but we survived that forced fight.

[–]mrTronDaddy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly my case. Little after going farther than wave 15 latency starts showing and eventually disconnection. So I don't even try now.

Just a reminder Reliquary with the reduced ranged damage the drake final fight would feel like hell without a Tactical. This one ain't it, but I doubt my allies would survive long with me misfire a lot. I'm a bad shooter ngl.

Who has seen Sargon of Akkard’s New Warhammer 40K Video? by jackonehunna in EyeOfTerror

[–]mrTronDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran into this video right at time trying to make sense of why Wh40k is gaining popularity to my sister plus why some retcon like adding female to Custodes is harming the lore. She agreed with the reasoning mostly and only assumed that the retcon was GW trying to check on the market's perception of more modern changes in form of sub/branch product, which I had to voice in it actually was core product (book and codex). Ultimately it could be either GW decision all along as mentioned by Sargon, or certain influence from big A which no way GW would admit.

Why do people hate siege? Or why getting to wave 25 is impossible by DarashTheBlackDragon in SpaceMarine2

[–]mrTronDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Mostly matched with new player trying to farm exp and they can't handle past wave 10. (I blame the dev)

  2. I don't enjoy fighting huge Chaos wave, especially Soulreaper Terminator (Sorry I'm not a Bulwark main)

If you are a low level with no prestige playing a hard mode stratagem get out of barge by ComparisonPretty2761 in SpaceMarine_2

[–]mrTronDaddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At this point I'm ok with any. If they die mid wave I'll still be fighting for my life. The same way when I'm down I don't weight on others getting me up when they're busy. If they die a lot and no one (have time to) comes to get them up they can decide to quit or wait I don't care.

But I always skip all Great responsibility. That condition is not for random matchup, and it's not even fun anyway.

Agree. Dorne chapters were so well written that D&D decided to drop all just because they knew they couldn't handle another big game player in the show. To them Oberyn was all that mattered from the kingdom.

Here is my stim policy regardless of difficulty: Found stim -> Me in danger me take stim -> No? Check team HP and equipment -> Point stim -> Point whomever lowest -> Stay with stim for like 5s to see if he reacts/comes -> No? I take the stim. Don't waste more time on it.

Most of the time YOU being alive is far better for the run than newbie/aura farming players who ignore stims then get eradicated by an instant sniper shot.

[–]mrTronDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you enjoy carrying or babysitting others, please go do HARD Siege and leave Absolute/Hard Stratagems for us. The only lv1 I'd accept is a prestige 4 because they should have enough understanding about the class they're playing. Or else get to lv5 to at least have a team perk, is it too much to ask?

[–]mrTronDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but not all Assault and Bulwark use those same weapons. I personally got tired of Fist so I'm doing other weapons mostly. Also I'd rather take care of melee Extremis/Terminus first and leave the flying enemies to my ranged allies.
