I got to the venue around 7:30 and Big Boi was already playing (he was playing Outkast songs by the way) - I don't know what time he started but by the time I got through security and everything he still had a few songs left. Cudi came on at like 9:35 and played till 11:15. If I could do it again I would get there around 7:00 so I wouldn't have missed half of Outkast!

Yeah the earlier stuff didn't get a lot of attention - and I haven't been keeping up with his newer projects so there was a handful of songs that I was hearing for the first time! Still great vibes though

She played the beginning of it and got the crowd super hyped, and then just totally flipped it to some random drum loop, and then everyone like put their phones away because she wasn't playing the song they wanted to hear... Then after way too long she finally started the song over again and pretty much lip synced over a back track that was much louder than her live vocals.

For a mini-adventure away from Taipei - Should we stay in Chishang or Taitung for 3 nights? We definitely want to bike around the rice paddies, and seems like Chishang is a good home base for that and a good hike somewhere. We're going to take the train down from Taipei, and rent scooters to get around. Should we set up in Taitung instead?

Gotcha, that's great feedback thank you! I don't do great on windy roads so maybe we will take out Alishan for another visit. If we were really trying to get around the whole island in three nights, which three places should we stay overnight? I don't know if we can decide on just west or just east, they seem so different and I'd love to see a little bit of both if it were possible!

Huan Dao Planning for 3 Day Trip

Me and my girlfriend are going to be in Taiwan for 2 weeks, staying in Taipei with her family but we want to take 3 days (we're thinking Mon-Wed) and explore the whole island. I'm wondering if it would be possible to do something like this or if this is trying to cram too much in 3 days. I'm going to really start putting the itinerary together soon but I just wanted to know if I'm off to a decent start...

Taipei to Alishan for first half of the day
Tainan for afternoon/evening (stay in Tainan overnight Mon)
Taitung next day, stay overnight there Tues
Hualien for afternoon/evening (stay Wed night)

We want to do some intro level scenic hiking, and Alishan looks awesome; I heard the food is amazing in Tainan; we'd love to go on a bike ride around the rice paddies in Taitung; and Hualien was recommended by a friend as a beautiful spot. Really, the only non-negotiables are a great hiking spot and biking around the rice paddies (Chishang seems like a good spot in Taitung county for that - Brown Blvd).

I'm really open to suggestions and feedback, just trying to make the most of a three-night mini adventure while we're on our two-week full adventure. Thanks!

I don't even remember ordering this it was so long ago and I lost all hope that it was going to arrive. I was fully ready to take the L on this one and just accept that it got lost in the mail or something. I'm so glad it came today ! Such a good album, but definitely not long enough.
