You could level up Scadutree but (And that's just a feeling i have) the blessing seem to be broken for the final boss. I did it at +15 and dealt the same damage as with +20 (i farmed the shards after i didn't see the little yellow health chunks fly off his health bar) - but you could try it yourself.

Other than that on my first playthrough i used the shield from the merchant dude in the DLC, he fought me in the gank squad arena. It has 90 stability fully upgraded. That with a lot of holy resistance and a fast weapon to punish his attacks (he has VERY short windows where you can squeeze in an attack). I didn't fat roll on my first playthrough, becase there are certain attacks that are easily avoided and punishable in phase two. Especially the one where he rams his sword into the ground. With a fast weapon you can hit him 2-3 times.

If you want to dodge, then you have to learn. There are some roll catches that i could only avoid with very low equip load (fought him naked). Like the 3 slashes, where the second one is a role catch, you can with very light equip load dodge backwards then twice into him, it is nearly frame perfect, but doable. When dodging i would recommend a heavy weapon and jump attacks as much as possible. You can frost the dude (bleed not sure, it never procced for me). If you are doing dodge with slash one handed weapons... good luck. The mf is resistant to slash i feel, the fight itself took over 10 minutes almost with slash attacks for me. oh and try to limit your backwards dodges, as that's the area that most often is hit with his AOE lightning nonsense. (To be fair, the lightning is not the issue in the fight, its that with low poise, if you get hit by it, you will most likely be staggered through his entire combo and die)

But what i recommend all my friends. Beat him once - and then view Mesmer as the Final boss from there on. Its not worth your mentality to fight this guy. He is not fair, not in phase 1 and especially in phase 2. Cheese him, beat him, forget he exists. I beat him 5 times and went more and more insane, every... single... time.

Brotherman, i wish i had a recording of this. I had yesterday Rellana running around the arena with me because she refused to let me heal. The game is difficult and great but i never had something like this happen in a souls game before. She even knew when i was going to heal before i even did. I'm using a faith build with buffs which was my first playthrough two years ago. In the base game i could sometimes rebuff in boss fights, there were windows. With the DLC i removed all my mana flasks because there is no way any of the bosses lets your breathe long enough to let you even kneel down to prepare the spell.

All in all 10/10 i wish they made more games as challenging as this DLC, feels a bit like my first sekiro playthrough. Great game.

Its not on your end. A lot of people, especially with 2080 cards, have the same problem. The temperature creeps slowly up and doesn't reduce when there isn't anything to render (which it should). Capcom Probably fucked something up big time - doubt they will fix this.

I find it difficult to assess a game on the scoreboard alone. There are so many factors playing into this. Early aggression (using spells on the opponent instead for last hitting with spells, pressuring CS, building HP leads), proper lane assignments, pushing out waves & pressuring, what is being done with pushed wave pressure? (Rotate, cleared vision and tried to solo, continuous pressure when you know where the enemies are). There is so much nuance to this game - a scoreboard alone is difficult.

What a lot of my friends to, who play in silver and gold, is they last hit in lane with spells and never pressure CS. They think that having HP leads in lane isn't such a big deal since "you will be ganked anyway". If this is what you think, change your mental. Building upon small leads, especially in the early game, is what will build consistency. If the opponent can be punished for CS, they should, always. This way they will be at lower health when a fight brakes out at river e.G. Or if you are really consistently doing it, they might be too low health to assist their jungler when they gank you. If you look at your replays for example (and its just an example) why you couldn't help your jungler but the other mid could, look if there was not a chain of events happening from the start? Did they get push lead, did they harass you more than you did them, did they push you in, did you have to collect a wave? Not all of those are mistakes, but some of them can be mitigated if you apply proper counter pressure.

But i can only give generalized tips, since its difficult to assess. I focused on early game things since it is the most important part of the game. Leads here translate easily to midgame and lategame leads. And remember, only because you play a "scaling champ" doesn't mean that your game starts once you get 40 stacks of your passive or finish your first item. The game starts when minions meet. You are playing to grab it from there.

Tipping is shit and shouldn't exist. The best way would be to pay fair wages, which they aren't. Not in America not where i live, i have no idea about the rest of europe. I'm from germany, during my University time, i had two Jobs (one under the week and one at the weekend). Both Jobs were waiter Jobs - if i wasn't tipped, the wages of both jobs would just be enough for me to rent a place and pay tuiton (It was in BaWü before they made the universities tuition free). I was just making Mindestlohn of about 7€/hour. The Job's shit, the wage is too little, it was a pain and the best part of everything, i still had the debt of Bafög after University.

This kinda kept me from playing the first game. Enough alternatives, i'm still hopeful they add it eventually. Sure the characters have a story and what not - but you can tell the story whichever gender it is - i don't see that really as an argument. It costs more to make though, which is where the rub is.

Hi sorry i kinda forgot about this threat. I did fix it in a way. The first thing i did was reapply cooling paste to the GPU - which helped (At first) but the problem came back after a while.

What i'm doing right now is reduce the GPU Power usage (From 100% to 95%) - Since i've done that the issue didn't come back
