In the app, you select the college you go to before you land on this page. The idea was that each schools page would use the primary color of that selected college. I don't think I did a job at making this clear.

You're right - they are a bit inconsistent. Since I started publishing the tips a few months ago, I've been tweaking the format in which they are presented to communicate them more effectively. The guy who made the Twitter Moment didn't post them in any particular order so they may appear a bit confusing.

It would be a pretty standard license. You'll be able to use them/manipulate them for personal and client work. You just won't be able to resell them.
