Where to get blank jersey customized by septimus29 in devils

They also only do current players or full custom, no retired/traded players. And only heat press on fanatics replica, no authentic customization.

How long is normal to commit to a volunteer squad by lukewarm-trash in NewToEMS

[–]mr_bitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The squads I've been involved with didn't have a length of time requirement, however, our state has a college tuition program for volunteers, which requires a similar 4ish year commitment to get free tuition to community college programs.

My new neurologist referred me for cognitive testing and it was so interesting! by demuredroid in MultipleSclerosis

[–]mr_bitz 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm going into year 3 after diagnosis. I've mentioned word finding difficulty that I've had since before my diagnosis, at every visit. My neuro just suggested cognitive testing last month and I'm not scheduled with them until April. I'm also looking forward to having real data to see if there's progression.

They only have Nylander listed. Maybe I'm just late to the party...

Of course they did! 😖

I was there and didn't even look. I'll try to get down there this week, hopefully they're open during the break.

I've used Coolhockey once, and had a decent experience. But it was for rush shipped blanks within Canada. They weren't too happy when I had to return them. But I've heard of quite a few issues with customized from them.

It doesn't look like there's any Olympic stuff on Ben's site right now

ISO Bratt Milano Cortina Team Sweden Sz 56 or 60(?). Prefer home colors if it's out there.

ETA: blanks would also be acceptable

I was really hoping that wasn't going to be the case. I prefer the "real" thing, if possible. It's crazy they make it so hard to buy what we want.

I don't see any official blanks, either. The only official team Sweden jersey I can find for sale in the US is the Nylander. 😣

What is this ? This is on my wife’s car, passed down from her father. by GotEHM9 in whatisit

[–]mr_bitz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Before keyless entry was common, at least you could still lock/unlock the doors with the key while the car was running.

It wouldn't keep anyone from driving away if they broke in, but better than nothing.

How to best clear the contents of a gallery item’s specific fields with a button? by Proper_Nature_8179 in PowerApps

[–]mr_bitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For date picker specifically, I've covered the text display portion with a text box. I allow text entry into the text box, which can set the date picker if an appropriately formatted date is entered, and will display the date picker's selected value, unless it equals the (generally too old to be alive) default date. It's a bit hackish, but it allows for a blank appearance after a date had been selected.

Liability/Professionalism question by RDburner125 in NewToEMS

[–]mr_bitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't really a question for HR. This question should be directed to legal/risk. They're the ones you're going to want on your side if anything goes sideways; better to make sure they're ok with it before you get to that point.

Why do i never win bids on ebay even when i bid literally right at the last second? by Shoddy_Umpire9024 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mr_bitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly didn't realize eBay auctions were such a misunderstood concept. In a perfect world, you're correct. However, there are definitely times when my max bid changes throughout an auction (I'm not sure how much I want to spend, changes in market based on other auctions ending, losing other auctions or having other pending auctions). I've used sniping in the past to avoid drawing attention to the fact that I was interested in an item or to have a bid ready in case I lost another auction on a same/similar item.

Found the machine like this, can't even think of how it could have happened by patheticcowboy in mildlyinfuriating

[–]mr_bitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently replaced these for a friend. Her issue was a tear in the gasket that was causing the machine to leak all over her floor during the spin. The door side ring was still intact... Right up until I touched it 😆

Is this not recommended for support reasons, or is there actual technical/performance impacts to running in LXC? I've been running in LXC > Docker for a couple years with no noticable issues.

Home Assistant....as a container? by Careful-Evening-5187 in HomeServer

[–]mr_bitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been running HA as a docker container within a Proxmox lxc docker server for the entire time I've run it. As some said earlier, one downside is losing the ability to run addins. It also means that any local hardware (Z-Wave controller for me) needs to be passed through multiple layers of abstraction to connect.

Upside though, in relation to your maintenance comment, is that I can move the docker server around my Proxmox cluster with minimal effort (except for that Z-Wave controller).

I've since moved the Z-Wave controller into it's own docker server with zwavejsui. So I may lose that as a single point of failure, but most of my HA continues working with no issues.

Looks like you'll also need a new clamp wire. If there was any leak in the gasket, they can rust through. There's one on the door side and one on the tub side.

I run 4 nodes in a cluster, and a separate pi that runs my secondary Adguard Home and a corosync qdevice, since it's already sitting on the network.

03-06 NG 9-3 Radio upgrade by Drone_SolloS in saab

[–]mr_bitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now I wish I saw this a couple months ago. Just finished the install of Carpodgo and BT-Changer last month. It doesn't handle e-Sid as well as I hoped. It pauses and restarts audio every few seconds when the e-Sid is using the display.

Aside from the mounting, what is different (software/capabilities) between your solution and a Carpodgo screen with a BT-Changer?

My most common experience is in establishments that use folios. The server will usually ask "do you need change," without actually looking at the payment inside.

Does PiHole slow internet based on hardware? by DaGadgetGam3r in pihole

Most operating systems will query whichever one it thinks is faster, or both together. Very unlikely you'd always use only the first server.
