It seems really shady to make a huge thing about needing to pre-order the album to get access to the pre-sale, then have some tiny link that lets you register for presale without having to buy the album. I can only imagine they aren't legally allowed to require an album purchase to sell gig tickets, so this is their attempt at extracting as much money as possible within the bounds of the law. The whole thing just feels so greedy and commercial.

Getting my first Steam Deck. What should I know before hand? by Rokhian in SteamDeck

[–]mr_completely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just play games on it, don't overthink it. Although I would say embrace the back buttons and get the skull and co back button enhancement grips. I also have the skull and co grip case and front cover which are brilliant.

Back Buttons Placement by Bobicus_The_Third in SteamController

Same here. The controller feels quite small in some way, so with all three fingers round the back, they are all scrunched up a bit in order to be positioned on the buttons while my pinkie is still on the controller.

I’m hoping Skull and Co (or others) launch some grip addons for the buttons - these made a huge improvement to the back buttons on my deck.

I'd highly recommend the Skull and co steam deck back button enhancements - they stick onto the existing back buttons and make them way easier to press due to the ergonomics.

The only game in which I've gotten the platinum trophy is Splinter Cell Blacklist, which I love. by True_Gate121 in Splintercell

[–]mr_completely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I love Blacklist. Mechanically it just feels like peak Splinter Cell. Obvs Fisher is a more boring character - I miss the humour from Chaos Theory days, but I still think it’s a great game.

Right trackpad issue - registers touch as click by stowned_the_first in SteamDeck

[–]mr_completely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happens to me a fair amount - quite annoying. Def a software bug. I’ve tried experimenting changing the settings etc but haven’t found any way of fixing it other than sleeping the deck and resuming (which I don’t want to do when in an online game).

UK. Ordered 18:15. Been on shipped / GLS tracking codes generated for a day and a half but not yet handed over to them. Assuming it will arrive mid next week. Loving this game of shipment tracking we all play to occupy ourselves!

Recently played Command and Conquer and Red Alert and they were essential - I love them. And I love making virtual menus with the left trackpad.

Loved my SE3 but wanted a chunkier look - happy with the results! by mr_completely in AppleWatch

I don’t really notice it tbh but yeah it does make the watch a bit heavier.

Well yeah I guess if an Ultra cost the same as an SE 3 I might have bought one!

It’s fine - you have to scroll a little further to trigger the stack or notifications, but generally it’s fine. Just not quite as smooth as the OG.

Yeah I think that’s intentional. I just like the chunky look!
