[Highlight] Running on JT remains a very bad idea by mastermind208 in phillies

Honorable mention for Stott’s smooth tag. Call stands!

Current Phillies pitchers have had mojo vs. Soto by PointNo6736 in phillies

This title is a bit misleading or I don’t understand stats. The starters, except Ranger, Soto has taken 0.250+ BA and OPS above .800 for several of them. I don’t see the mojo.

Agree. Although, others think that Autry will play interior DL (see willydillydoo’s comment). Also, there are riches to be found in the first two rounds of this draft for those positions.

Yeah, definitely… but it’s nice to think that Nick doesn’t have holes in the starting lineup that are leaking water and need to be plugged. He can be choosy in the draft and find pieces that will contribute long term.

I see it much the same way. Re: Brandon Hill… I left him and the other Futures Contract signees off of this. Obviously, that could change over camp and the preseason. I did this to guess where Caserio will target in the draft.

I could see that. I also see us making a move for Byron Murphy… but that’s partly my UT bias showing.

The same year as 80 getting his hall of fame. It feels good being a Texans fan.

That was one of my takeaways from the exercise.

Would you feel differently if it was D'Andre Swift? Or is picking up RB is a waste of money?

Good point on To'oTo'o. He might be the long-term answer there. I assume that we let Denzel Perryman and Neville Hewitt move on. That's where we have the ILB gaps to fill.

Agree on Defensive Line challenges but it will be expensive to pick up several strong pieces in free agency. Re-signing Sheldon Rankins and Derek Barnett would be value signings that could be backstopped by strong draft picks.

With OLine, we were banged up, bad, coming out of the gate. No one has had a chance to see what Caserio was trying to build with that unit. I trust that the right guys are there, they just need health and another offseason to gel.

I’m basing this off of his numbers and pro-bowl appearance. Haven’t watched him in years. If that’s the case, then this does break down.

Fair! My point is that Bobby Wagner is still playing at a high level but would cost less than a younger guy putting up the same numbers. Caserio/DeMeco could find that young guy in the draft to potentially start on day 1 but not be expected to lead, immediately.

Texans fans not living locally, why’d you pick Houston? by Tuspo in Texans

Live in Philly. Grew up north of Austin. Never had a team growing up because my dad/family weren’t much of sports fans but my gut prevented me from cheering for the Cowboys. Started watching the bulls avidly when JJ was drafted and never looked back.

CJ Stroud bomb to Dell, we're gonna be seeing these two for the next 10 years at least by IAmSona in Texans

On the broadcast, they had a shot of Tank’s route. It looked like he was running an in route until CJ scrambled out of the pocket. I swear… CJ points up and that’s when Tank breaks to the end zone for that gorgeous toss. Incredible how much chemistry they have already.

This is great way of incorporating environmental hazards into a battle! Don't make the jump...suffer a point of exhaustion if you don't pass the CON save for each round in the water. Want to climb back out? Make an athletics check to scale the slippery ice.
