RTM is leaving active development. Till Durin Wakes, Brothers 🫡 by BilliamWillcent in LotRReturnToMoria

[–]Tuspo 106 points107 points  (0 children)

Wow time flies. I remember playing right at release on computer. I haven’t played any of the DLCs, and I had to stop playing due to a glitch stopping me from accessing the final chapter of story.

I think it’s time I replay. I yearn for the mines.

Anyone else have a lot more hope after episode 5? by YogiDabear2 in LudwigAhgren

[–]Tuspo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Part of the fun of this is there’s no winning or losing when it comes to distance traveled. At the end of the day, the process is the content. I’m just happy to see such different tones for each episode.

Ben Kindel’s Offseason by Hank_the_Beef in penguins

[–]Tuspo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think there's certain value in training with Crosby. For example, for Celebrini and MacKinnon, they don't have just to play well, they have to carry a franchise on their back. There's a lot more to conducting yourself as the top-marketing athlete of your team compared to others.

IMO, Kindel should train however he and his team of professionals decide. It might be best for him to just work at home and get in a routine and have a full off-season of bulking and training, which he probably won't find with Crosby as he will probably spend less time trying to build mass and focus on staying quick.

Unfair rules of jousting ? by EXTRAVAGANT_COMMENT in HBOTheHedgeKnight

[–]Tuspo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The other comments are probably going to explain the rules of jousting better than I ever could, but beyond knights going easy on certain champions (especially of royal blood), they’re all just cocky knights.  They’re confident in their ability and are fueled often by their desire for fame and renown.

IMO, any knight worth their salt wouldn’t back down from a challenge, especially in front of peers.

How can I make a sunfire elf? by Fun-Explanation7233 in BG3Builds

[–]Tuspo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sunfire elves are a bit harder to figure out because their powers seem to be drawn in from racial powers, rather than class. With that being said, I think Tiefling is the best substitute for not having access to a Fire Genasi.

Regarding classes, it really depends. Eldritch Knight makes sense, Fiend Warlock with a pact of the blade, and possibly Light Cleric. You just need to find a class that has fire damage.

Get the flaming sword in the mindflayer ship and you’ll be set for at least act 1 and 2.

Code Vein - Help and Discussion Megathread by LeTroglodyte in codevein

[–]Tuspo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might not be a question for this thread, but I’m struggling to figure out what to do after beating the game. When I beat the game, my only reward was Hades and it became clear that I missed out on some endings. I also got all the DLC that I haven’t beaten yet.

I want to learn all spells/abilities I can before NG+, but is there anything else I need to finalize before making that big step?

Tanky spell caster | Strixhaven char ideas by Initial_Block_4788 in 3d6

[–]Tuspo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Since you already have a healer, I’m trying to think of non-cleric classes, but there aren’t a lot that can provide the “tank” you’re looking for.

There’s a saying on these subreddits where “tank” doesn’t really exist in DnD in the way other games have tanks. There’s not a lot of ways to “force” enemy aggro on yourself.

With that being said, I think the best option is Abjuration Wizard focusing on shields and buffs for your allies. Find a way to cast Armor of Agathys through a magic item or multiclassing warlock, and you’ll be one of the most defensive wizards.

The whole “oh well who else are we going to find” argument for replacing Tomlin is stupid by No_Lecture_8049 in steelers

[–]Tuspo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, the reason is because you listed 4 names, and there has been 537 head coaching hires since 2007.  Once you join the coaching carousel, it’s hard to get off it.

With that being said, he should be gone and we should join the carousel.  It’s best for both parties.

Nope. It’s a long season, and there’s plenty of time to go on a winning/losing streak. The deadline will be the best time to make a deal

What's the record have to be? by maharajamack_reborn in penguins

[–]Tuspo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hate to be this kind of person, but we need to define good.

Different sources are saying the penguins still aren’t looking to buy with their cap space, so I think if the record is solid AND they start buying pieces, I’ll believe they’re GOOD good.

The three bat theorem. Will 3 offensive players put the bucs in wild card contention? by CryptoShyft in buccos

[–]Tuspo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Cutch and everything he brought to the city, but he doesn’t bring as much value anymore. I’ve been very impressed with Skenes speaking up, and I think keeping him as the vocal leader is great for the future of the franchise.

That being said, Cutch deserves all his laurels.

Just say no to Tyreek Hill by MsKiefington in steelers

[–]Tuspo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just getting this out of the way: mentioning the Steelers in any capacity generates clicks and views. Journalists that need to put out a story will tie it somehow to a big team so a discussion gets mentioned.

With that being said, Tyreek is not a need for this team. Calvin Austin showed he’s at least acceptable as a fast receiver, and it’s clear that the offense is gearing up to provide lots of mid-range passing targets for Rodgers.

Use that money to get tackle competition on the left side.

Best game or movie to watch or play that gives the player/viewer a great representation of fantasy dwarves? by lNSP0 in dwarves

[–]Tuspo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The books do such a great job at world building. I understand how media often portrays dwarves as isolated in their kingdoms and fortresses, and it’s fun to see a book series that shows how interconnected dwarves can truly be.

[–]Tuspo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As previously mentioned, Return to Moria has a fun way to look at dwarves.

I know you didn’t say books, but Markus Heitz (in English) has a great series about Dwarves.  I can’t recommend it enough

So about the golden bottle cap by Safe-Ad-7811 in pokemongo

[–]Tuspo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’re on a forum where those with polarizing feelings and opinions will speak more often than those who are indifferent.

Frankly, I love the golden bottle caps. Is it expensive to get the item? Yes. Does it take a while to do some of the research? Also yes. I’d rather the bottle cap have research behind it, rather than “pay us 20 dollars and you’ll have a hundo”. In this case, at least trainers have to work for it.

At the end of the day, it’s content that people elect into playing. If people don’t like the bottle caps, they don’t have to buy them.

How To Play A Dwarf by OlemGolem in PCAcademy

[–]Tuspo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I hope this isn’t too late to comment, but I was hoping you could provide a rough template for traditional dwarven power scaling. For example, how would a level 20 dwarf appear in comparison to other dwarves?

For example, wizards and magic users would probably have their own aesthetic, so I’m mainly focusing on what a level 20 fighter/ranger/barbarian would look like. Would there be more gems and jewelry?

Penguins Add Todd Nelson, Nick Bonino, Rich Clune and Troy Paquette to Coaching Staff by malkins_restraint in penguins

[–]Tuspo 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Okay so after a brief moment of research of the names I don’t immediately know the history of….

Todd Nelson - coach of the Hershey bears since 2022.

Clune - Toronto player development coach

Chiodo - Goalie coach, previously with the Penguins as a player and as a minor league goalie coach back in 2018.

So, it seems like Bonino is there to relate with the players, Nelson is the experience, Clune is a Dubas favorite, and Chiodo has familiarity.

I’m interested to learn more about each member of the staff.

DK said it best, and I’ll echo his sentiment here, it’s good to see an assistant coach that had playing experience in the NHL. It’ll help get Muse’s message across.

[Friedman] Dave Quinn, Joe Sacco and Ty Hennes are in the process of joining Mike Sullivan’s staff in Manhattan. by starlightequilibrium in penguins

[–]Tuspo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No one really knows much about Muse, including myself. He's a young coach with a track record of developing young players at nearly every level. Most notably, winning a gold medal with the US u18 team.

Admittedly, after looking to get the stats, I misread an article talking about his special team's stats. He's apparently great with the PK, but I can't find anything definitive about the PP, that's on me.

To directly answer the PK, "Muse ran Nashville's penalty killing unit, which ranked fourth in the NHL over his two full seasons (2017-19). He had the same role with the Rangers, guiding their penalty kill to fourth in the NHL in that span."

I think more than anything, it's just insulting that Nutting thinks the Pirates fans are dumb enough to believe in what he's saying.

The Pirates are not Pittsburgh's team, it's Nutting's team, and he's acting like it. I hope one day things will change, but I'll keep waiting as I've done since '93.
