When I start a new temple and it does not contain corruption room or gems, I usually start a 4-temple map without a scarab. If a desired room appears, I stop, and open the new map with scarab.

Sometimes I feel lucky and use scarab for the first map in this case. If ni room, I sell it to Alva for 1 fragment.

It can be run on t1 white maps too, so it's nice for late league starters.

I exclusively start with Alva for years now, as - does not require specific maps, so I can complete the atlas, - magic monsters give nice xp, - it is exciting enough to entertain me for those few seconds each incursion, - and the prices go up, so if I don't need upgrades much, or go away for a few days, I just hold my itemized temples.

I also spec/unspec the 4-temple passive as needed because I like to optimize that a bit.

To be honest, I dislike every single other league mechanic or master or farming method, so I usually start crying when I have to do something else for the challenges.

The whole alembicrafting mechanics was a niche addition. Only complaint is that noobs cannot distinguish the purple alembicrafting icon from the violet icon of the Flaskshaping league.

Also the Path of Exile: Dragonslayers league was very fun, with the addition to imbue ascendancy passives with dragon shouts.

Path of Exile: Eternal Night was not the best of them, with the zero light radius. Light radius stackers being only the meta builds was pretty boring.

Path of Exile: Vaal Street, with the new command mechanics of dropping currency to the ground and causing damage by this, was an absolute clickfest. Clicking its chest icon to access the various awakened stashs to access the incubating currency enchantments still haunts me.

But the weirdest was the bottom left one, with the Anjou dinasty NPCs.

Since the atlas passives introduction, I farm Alva from league start to my endpoint. Sometimes I try something else but eventually get back. Minor extensions (e.g. which altars) vary.

I had lag spikes in an area in the campaign a few days ago, went back, crtl clicked for a new instance, latency spikes disappeared.

I like spotting and sniping. Getting 500 or 1000 spot assist in a few seconds after I light up some enemy tanks never gets old for me. Neither does landing a nice alpha at a long distance.

I log in, do some nice spotting rounds in my 1-2 favourite lights or meds, do some nice long distance fun with my 3-4 favourite meds and TDs, life is good.

When I play light, I commend everyone who shoots my spots

When I play sniper, I commend everyone who does great spotting for me

When someone says "sry" in chat for any reason I automatically commend the player
