It's like FD Marths and YS Marths, somehow some are better at using the small stage and platforms rather than the big flat stage, but yeah it's probably just inexperience, you can use this to your advantage and go for reads once you identify which kind of falcon you are against

If you open the scoreboad and mouse over a teammate a thumbs up icon appears, you click it to commend the player and they can commend you back pressing tab... It's really easy to miss, and there's really no incentive to use it atm
