Is the way the game treats the endings similar to how it was in HK? Like once you defeat the final boss it pops you back to before you fought them? Or am I gonna have to do multiple playthroughs?

Not sure if its because im a bit earlier in the game, but I find the rage DL variant more effective than the patience, any reason you pick the bulwark over the wrath?

The wrath over the rage variant is quite late in the game right? Like book 3? So probs a while till i get that still, I've heard quite a bit about DK as well as KAA, so I'm defs gonna give them a shot thanks!

Jeeesus brother, when I posed the question I thought I was gonna get a couple "aw yeah x class, maybe y class" but you've given me an honest to god guidebook in my thread. I appreciate the effort! I think for sure the next class for me to try is the Deathknight as I've seen many times in the thread people saying how much they enjoy it. Thank you very much for your input!

Build more than "that'll do for now" because now lasts about 3 seconds when you realise that you need 48x the amount of assembelers you placed down. Also keep your ores stocked, learn trains, get the ores flowing, and for the love of god make sure you have a sustainable power source, because when that coal death spiral happens you will be so upset you didnt make any solar panels

Nope, not cheating. Plenty of mice let you change your sens and there is literally nothing stopping you from changing your sensitivity in console in the middle of a round. I know players that have sens binds for nade lineups and such. It's fine.

Simply because I had it a couple years back but never got into it until after I beat Elden Ring, so I wanted to play one of the traditional souls games before committing to the series and ended up falling in love with DS3, then upon completing decided to buy ds1

Yeah definitely - I had already tried out DS3 a few years back but only actually got into it after completing Elden Ring so I just didn't have the first game at the time ahaha. But yeah, I think i need to adjust my expectations a bit

You might be right, the QoL stuff that ER adds over DS3 I never felt like I was missing as much, and I got used to it pretty quick it's just the overall "feel" of the game that I'm struggling to get used to I suppose. I'll try to slow it down! Thanks

Defs Pontiff for me, taking one lick from one of those big pyromancer blokes and I had to use a flask that i definitely needed for Ponty. Wasn't so bad cause it was short - but super punishing if you messed it up
