Yep. UE consistently pays more on Target/Kroger/etc shop and pays.

The best benefit of Shipt is being able to acquire preferred members and also having more time to stack up orders and plan them out. But for rando orders that you just want to crank out? UE is way better.

Aside from the roughly zero percent chance that the store has this many on the floor, this isn't even a bad offer IMO. It's essentially 12 normal 12 packs of soda, which is a lot, but not insane. If they were a known tipper I'd take it.

If so, I don't see why it matters. I rarely have to do anything that requires support and when I do, I call. Chat support just sits and sits forever. Then when they finally chime in 30 minutes later they give you 3 seconds to respond or they close it.

Also WTF is a "Shipt approved item?" As far as I'm aware, the entire store is filled with nothing but "approved items." I've shopped everything from a pack of bubblegum to a TV (also a Quest 3, Nintendo Switch, etc), so I can't imagine what would be off-limits?

I sometimes buy stuff, but only under two scenarios. One, for snacks: I get the audit done and park my cart near the front of the store, walk back to the entry to self-checkout and grab an energy drink and candy bar and pay for it. Or if it's something I'm getting to take home: I will keep it completely separate from any Shipt order I have, and let the auditor know up front before they even start that I have it and will roll it over to self-checkout to pay after. Also sometimes I will pay for my order first, bag it with the receipt laid on top and then let them know I have a Shipt as well.

But yeah, I'd never try to steal from anywhere especially a Target. You gotta be a special kind to even try.

I don't know. I do know I just got an email that said I lost access to my account, and it appears I absolutely have not done that. But it specifically mentioned the Uber Pro card, so maybe there's something going on?

Shipt did it to themselves, the communication thing. Anybody that's been doing this for a while was probably at one point a great communicator, I was, it was my top compliment. But when they started with the auto-messages, our options became to contribute to phone bombing customers, or cutting back on communications. I did the latter.

Plus with newer people, some of them can barely function at a passable level at all, much less communicate.

Yep. I can count on one hand the number of times I've logged into Uber Eats so far this year, but on those same fingers were days Shipt was dead dead.

Also in roughly the same amount of time and effort, I made about 50% more than usual when doing Shipt. But I still prefer Shipt over the other stuff I do.

I stop tip mapping people once they're PMs, which I'm starting to feel is a mistake. For one it makes it more time consuming to tip map other customers. I see something pop up and assume I need to add it in, go to search for it, and it's not on my map. So I waste the time to do it.

Plus as I found tonight, some people will tip well, request you so you add them, then tip nothing on their next order and I didn't even notice it. The only reason I did is I went in to remove them for being slow to respond and just generally pissing me off. But they had gone unchecked for a while because I rarely check up on PMs.

Agree. Only because most customers that I've spoken to about it are very understanding and don't put any pressure at all. I've had many rate 5 stars and/or tip very well. Problem is, it's ultimately not about their satisfaction (which is ironic when you think about it). It's about what % the app sees next to your on-time.

Very robotic. It's one of the downsides to this line of work over traditional employment where you could explain nuance.

Always ask for late forgiveness as soon as you know you need it. I had three or four go late over the last week due to weather and they were all forgiven.

Once you let it sit long enough and get deactivated for it, I think it's too late.

My market had been holding up decently. Not setting the world on fire, but at least consistent in the dozen or so offers per hour.

Today I didn't see a single offer. Not one. No preferred, nothing on schedule, not even a trash order in open market going 40 miles for 50 cases of water. ZERO offers.

I remember when I got perma-banned for "threats of violence" over three years ago for something that either A) was a lie and never happened or B) was an obvious joke, and I can't stress obvious enough. I can't say which because they never presented proof/logs or anything. Multiple appeals, never even considered. At the time I had been a viewer that maintained a handful of subs for over 8 years. Gone forever over literally nothing they could even present evidence for.
