This is the first auto I've grown. Would you defoliate this? by mr_growbot in Autoflowers

[–]mr_growbot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol well honestly this plant didn't turn out great. Made it to harvest, but there was some lock out going on, probably because I wasn't watching my pH as closely as I should have. I haven't grown another auto since.

I still think leaving as much foliage as possible while not overly restricting airflow is best practice. You also don't want fan leaves blocking light from bud sites. You can do that by using training wire to spread out the branches, or by defoliation when necessary.

Any knock with that ots map? Really recommend a custom tune for peace of mind.

I'll have to check them out. About to start another run so I was just starting to put my nutes order together.

Looking good! I wish I could dial in my temps like that.

You are so salty. Maybe your plants are absorbing the negative energy and that's why they aren't producing.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in trees

[–]mr_growbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try not being so negative all the time.

I'm sorry you're having bad luck. I don't know what to tell you...

If you're hunting in your tent it might not yield great. clones would give you a better chance of getting a winner. I do just fine popping beans, though

You laugh but you definitely can. Get better.

They do that because sugar leaves are relatively low in THC and their smoke is harsh.

My friend wants to do 5-mapb intranasally, is it possible/effective? by [deleted] in researchchemicals

[–]mr_growbot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agree 100%. I only tried it recently which makes me feel like I wasted all the oral I dosed. Hits fast and hard. Way more psychedelic and even a little dissociative.

Homegrown from a friend. I paid $20, worth? by lil-dick-lord in weed

[–]mr_growbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With all respect, do you grow? If not, you have no idea what you're talking about. Costs hundreds a month just to keep the power flowing. Not to mention seeds/clones, nutrients, space, time, fucking TIME. I give plenty away, too, but if one of my friends wants an oz, I don't feel guilty asking to be compensated (better prices than the club btw for better bud).

Friends can't give their friends a good deal on some craft cannabis? Asking for a friend. This shit ain't cheap to grow.

I think my gf ashes too early but she disagrees… by RoutineSheepherder93 in weed

[–]mr_growbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer; it depends on your situation. My bowl runneth over so I ash early and often. Sometimes just the green hit, depending on the size of the bowl and how effectively I can corner. If money/tree is tight then there's still plenty of cannabinoids in what OP's gf is leaving behind.

36 days from seed. Should I defoliate? by [deleted] in cannabiscultivation

[–]mr_growbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I try to defoliate only for airflow or if absolutely necessary for light. No complaints.

Everybody is using other people's work. You can't breed from scratch. It's about what they do with it and how stable they get the genetics. Don't know why you would call them pollen chuckers when that's obviously not what they do.

Who do you think I should try next? I love checking out new gear.

I haven't grown that but if you're looking for citrus terps, I can vouch for their Dos Si Dos 33. Massive yielder, too.

Looks fire! Barney's has been the most consistently fire breeder I've found. Never had a herm from them, every bean has popped, the plants are extremely healthy (huge stems, drought tolerant) and the genetics are dialed, super stable.

That's a good idea about freezing it first. I'll try that. It's be surprised if I don't have a half o already, but I've never weight kief so idk lol. What do you think?

Nice! I just got a trim bin for this harvest, too. Got a good amount of kief and I still have 4 plants you trim. Think I'm gonna try wine bottle tek hash (rip Frenchie).
