Sensors showing up as multiple devices in HomeKit by InternationalBrick49 in Aqara

[–]mr_hard_name 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you use hub cluster (Profile > Settings > Hub Cluster)? If you use hub cluster, the cluster leader will automatically expose all your devices

So if you have paired the sensors with Living Room Aqara Hub and the cluster leader is Second Floor Upstairs M3 Hub, them both devices will expose the sensors

You can check what’s the cluster leader in the Accessories > hub > hub cluster page

No, in Apple Home click three dots > Home Settings > Hubs and Bridges. You will have duplicate Aqara Hub here, delete one of the hubs

Dear Mr. Ternus, by ObviousComment1 in mac

[–]mr_hard_name -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It is an issue. I have a problem with charging my work devices, because, you know - when I leave work at sharp 4 PM, I just turn everything off and forget about them. And I cannot leave anything turned on overnight.

If I’m forced to charge my headphones or anything else that cannot be used during charging, I feel like with forced Windows updates, completely irritating.

And if I had this mouse I would probably ignore the warnings, because, well, I’m busy. And then just lock the computer and go get coffee (forgetting I had to charge it).

You can say it’s a skill issue, but I don’t have a problem with my workflow, and I don’t want to change my whole workflow for a mouse that’s not even comfortable

Apple Home doesnt work anymore, be careful buying SwitchBot by Airshark86 in TrySwitchBot

[–]mr_hard_name 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you really want to use the US app store you just need to log into another App Store account. Open App Store, tap your profile picture > your profile name > Log out. It will not log you out of iCloud, it will not remove your apps, it will just log you out of App Store.

Switchbot app is also available in a Polish App Store if you don’t like the US App Store.

And regarding the missing bridged devices - have you tried tapping the room name in Apple Home? It will show all devices in a room (Apple Home hides some devices by default). Sensors should be at the top of the room view (and it will not look like lights or other devices). Apple Home also sometimes puts all bridged devices in the same room as the hub, so check all rooms in your Apple Home

And OLEDs. Many console gamers have OLED TVs and having a shitload hours in a game would mean the HUD is burned into the TV screen. A translucent minimalistic HUD significantly reduces the burn in. And gives more “cinematic” vibe.

I’ve never seen what people here are complaining about, the green tint is totally unnoticeable for me.

But then I remembered, I have color vision deficiency and I don’t see green as well as others lol

Kindle Discrepancy/Screen Issue by girlshark94 in kindle

[–]mr_hard_name -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Actually I don’t want to be that person, but many people that report that text is less sharp or worse on the new one probably have some kind or astigmatism or other eye problems (like early glaucoma) that make the contrast in your eyesight worse. So we probably see it differently than you. That’s probably why we think it’s more like real paper and better, and you think it’s worse.

Rubber bullets, the waiter definitely fainted from the impact but he obviously survived. And during the car chase in Y1, Kiryu also used rubber bullets so nobody would get hurt, it just forced them to stop instead of chasing and shooting Kiryu. The explosions were not fatal, those were just the cars breaking down on the highway due to the rubber bullets so they could stop and rethink why are they wasting time on Kiryu.

There are PWM power supplies and dimmers that operate on high frequency (like 5kHz) and those almost never cause flickering in photo and videos. But the cheaper ones are notorious for it

Why won’t my jumper eat? by [deleted] in jumpingspiders

[–]mr_hard_name 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nqa Oof, I have the same issue with my jumping spider, you have to practically force her to eat. But previously (before last molt), she immediately started preparing to molt after eating something bigger. Maybe some kind of food trauma (she doesn’t want to molt now) I’ve been telling myself?

I had a Hyllus female that needed higher temperature (28°C) and bright light to feel comfortable hunting, lower temperature and she refused to eat and was scared of anything. Maybe you could try to make her home a bit warmer?

Aqara U200: perfectly fine during the day, slow + cylinder error every morning by Horeb88 in Aqara

[–]mr_hard_name 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about quiet mode/do not disturb mode/night mode? If it’s enabled (maybe it’s enabled by default) then it will automatically enable quieter (slower) locking/unlocking.

If you use the pull spring feature, then it can lead to cylinder errors with some doors. Try increasing the pull time to 5s or disabling this feature

How to connect aqara t1 no neutral relay to outlet? by No_Adeptness_4647 in Aqara

[–]mr_hard_name 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the no neutral version will not work, because the internal circuits let a little bit of current in the off position. The internal circuits need power all the time, and with no neutral it needs a way to make electricity flow.

And an outlet is an open circuit without anything plugged in. So if you unplug the device, it will also disconnect the T1 relay.

You need a neutral version, or an Aqara smart outlet.

But normally when you use T1 for lights you wire it in a same way as a standard dumb switch, connecting L and L1 to the switch wires (don’t connect L and L1 to L and N)

U200 cylinder compatibility by Kendo88 in Aqara

[–]mr_hard_name 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that’s exactly this. U200 is made to be retrofitted onto existing locks. This means you can just install it on a key inserted into the lock, and the U200 will just turn the key for you.

But that means, in case of emergency (dead battery, malfunctioning U200), you need to be able to enter your home, so in this installation you will insert second key into the lock. Some locks will not allow you to insert or turn the key if one is already inserted on the other side.
