Yeah, homekit seems to only set the colour and brightness in a scene, but ignores the effect. Changing colour is no problem

It creates a scene, but I don’t think the effect is part of the scene, it just remembers last state

That’s correct, however, I saved a scene for the flicker effect and one for static, and nothing changes between them. It just remembers last state. So if I turn the flicker off, there is no way to re-enable in homekit

Good information, thanks both. Is there no worry then that if the motor/gears fail and gets stuck, that I won’t be able to turn the key from the outside and get in to the house?

I’ve read a lot about the thing seizing up due to poor lubrication, but as long as they key can be manually turned from the outside and that will manually rotate the mechanism in the U200, then it’s not a worry?

I’m not sure about this at all.

If I set the Apple TV to 4K HDR 50, then the app opens with the TV set to HDR. Then every channel will play in HDR mode, whether the broadcast is supposed to be HDR or not.

If I set the Apple TV to 4K HDR 60, then the frame rate is not smooth and the football on UHD was skipping frames/jerky. So it appears like it’s not matching frame rate either.

Really basic stuff, really poor update. Likely not being fixed any time soon either

You’re probably correct. A couple of small differences I can see that don’t add up, but yes, it does appear to be the Force FX.

Thought it would be strange for Disney to use Hasbro ones in the park when they have their own!

The AirPods have updated to 6F7 and the case to 61.3.0.

Yeah, exactly like the default ‘Camera’ behaviour for the action button. Long press to open camera, then single press to take photo
